Yeah happy to share, they were all from eBay. Nothing was very expensive including the body (will be better ones out there for sure but its not something I know anything about). Was expecting some of it to not fit but was surprised that all items were a good match for him, especially the top - was fearing a loose, woolly jumper-like top to show up but it really is a great tight, elastic t-shirt material top.

Jeans - light blue option:

Mine are definitely the light blue ones, pics might make them look a bit darker but not by much. The other options are either too dark or too blue to be accurate. They are a loose fit jean, not skinny in anyway. A little skinnier in the lower leg would of been preferable but as they are, they work.

You’re THE MAN!

Bought all 4 recommendations for $67 - like you said, not perfect but good enough for me.

I was adding your recommendations and removed about a dozen items out of my EBay cart that I was experimenting with - wasted so much time on EBay/Ali searching.

Jeans - from what I recall, Keaton in the movie has that “mom jeans” type fit so the one you got works.

Turtleneck - the one in the movie seemed to be a wool like material and neck portion was fuller and rode up higher.

Body - does the clothing work on the original Mr. W. Body? proportions looks slightly off on this alternative body. Maybe I’ll try since I have 2 Mars figures.

Shoes - it was not fully confirmed what color the shoes are. Earlier in this thread, someone posted what looked like white in the film but the comic seems more brown/beige. Surprised this was the 2nd most expensive item of the 4 you recommended. Wonder if my NBA sneakers will work, have so many extra pairs from the Enterbay Jordan, Curry, Kobe, etc.

Thanks for the help. Yeah, the auction shows the pants very tight around the ankle but yours look good. I do not want skinny jeans, ever.

I have not tried the clothes on the Mr W body but could work even better. Am working on some slight padding for him. I went with a slim shoulder figure to try and match Keaton's slimmer frame. There is a better body out there for sure and others might know a better option.

Was tempted to buy Nike sneakers as a nod to his Jordan boots but couldn't find any that seemed correct for the era and not super expensive.

I opened mine up today (was saving it for the New Year celebration, and to open it up with the new Joker figure that just arrived as well).

It's a nicely done figure. The pictures had me thinking the headsculpt was too much of a caricature (with the Keaton lips), but in-hand it doesn't look exaggerated. I like that he has the "younger" look that he had in "Batman '89", as opposed to the older, more mature look in "Returns," so that helps set it apart from the Hot Toys.

I'm going ahead with the glasses look for now, as I really like how studious and focused he looks with the glasses in the batcave (right after the party). I agree with the consensus that it's best that they don't have lenses - but it seems like the design/inclusion of the glasses was done as an afterthought, given that the ears on the headsculpt just don't stick out enough for the glasses to easily loop around them and not end up either having one of the arms hanging in midair or the lenses looking crooked on his face. I spent more than ten minutes fiddling them into a decent-looking position.

There was one problem with the figure: Two of the three glued-on studs/buttons on one of the cuffs of his arm don't seem to have been applied (if they fell off in the box, I couldn't find them). The other arm is fine, with all three intact.

Usually companies seem to include a few replacement studs in a baggie, but there were none included with mine (as an example, the Mars Toys Joker figure had replacement studs, but they're the wrong color). I contacted One Sixth Kit for replacements, but they want me to pay $15 for shipping replacements since the package was delivered "over three weeks ago" (it was technically delivered 3.5 weeks ago, I just held off on opening it until Joker arrived).

Which is all bonkers, because:

  • $15 is an insane price for what amounts to a few tiny, nearly invisible pieces of plastic (they should be no more than a nickel apiece, with maybe a few dollars shipping, at most - this is going to be smaller and lighter than sending a postcard).
  • 3.5 weeks doesn't seem long enough to give up on quality control (are we really going to quibble over a few extra days, OSK?)
  • OSK has this guy listed for more orders (so they're clearly still selling and planning on receiving and shipping more soon - they shouldn't even be considering closing the window on quality control at this point)

I have other figures pre-ordered with OSK (like the Batman Forever Riddler, which is rumored to release soon) and said I was happy with just waiting until then for inclusion in the shipment, but no dice.

So given all that, does anyone have any advice on where I can get some replacement studs/buttons for cheap? Or even what keyword I should be using in my searches?
Did you ever find a solution for your missing buttons? My Alfred is missing some as well.

For those of you that have Mr J, he comes with a bag of white studs to replace buttons. They could easily be painted black and used for Wayne or Alfred if they're the same size.

Think I found a solution. One of my Marty McFly figures has some spare buttons. They’re silver but I’m going to try to paint them gold and see how they work.

I didn't have this figure on short pre order but if it helps my pre ordered Mob Joker shipped last week so he is starting to ship them.

At first I didn’t want this figure. I was preordering all the Mars Batman 89’ but their tuxedo version wasn’t how I saw Keaton’s Bruce Wayne. But I really liked the head sculpt, so I decided this would be my first kitbash and diorama, to recreate the moment I see in my head. It took some time, money, and work but it felt really good to create a figure that was innately mine. It’s not perfect, I’m not a very good painter, but now that I have the first one out of the way I feel confident that I can make other environments, like the Batcave for the upcoming HT Batman 89’ 2.0 and Jazzinc Batmobile. That’s the dream.
