1/6 Hot Toys -TMS127- Ahsoka series: Mauldalorian (Super Commando)

Wow! Can’t say I expected this figure. Leave it to HT to milk a background flashback for all it’s worth

Yeah I've been calling this one for awhile now. This is essentially the equivalent to their "KX Enforcer Droid" release that was done for Book of Boba. Sure, it's a little weird getting figures of characters that were in a series for all of 5 seconds but it's easy money. Especially with something like this. Mandalorians sell, Maul-related anything sells. It's a no brainer.

I’m just baffled why they felt they had to use the Ahsoka banner when they could have just put this under the Clone Wars banner, which they’re clearly trying for with that Maul shot.

Gar Saxon is imminent.

After all of these releases for Ahsoka we are still waiting for Baylan, Shin, and Anakin.

Anakin (CW and Sith) will eventually come, the rest is never happening.

Ok now I'm really starting to get annoyed. If we get this guy who appeared for a split second and no Shin or Baylan who were the central villains of the series...

Out of all the Ahsoka stuff I'll probably only really want padawan Ahsoka, Rex, and CW Anakin if not Ep3 jedi/sith Anakin (since I missed Artisan) and just get CW Obi-Wan and that will be my only CW shelf. But to be honest I rather avoid anymore SW stuff unless it's OT.

Dont’t worry they are building up to them.
Those two will be near the end of the line. Enjoy the ride while we can.

I dont believe the villains are anywhere on the horizon, but thats just me.

Howard is going deep in Ahsoka (not that I wouldn't) yet not one Andor figure. Howard must hate the show

Looks good and I could pretend it's not from Ahsoka but The Clone Wars, the price puts me off though. This is way more than Fox and more than the recent head sculpt figures from the Ahsoka show.

Rather have Gar Saxon though.

So this guy was in Ahsoka? I must have blinked during one of those Anakin & Ahsoka flashback scenes lol. While he does look cool, I'll probably put this in the Death Watch Mando category - not worthy of supplanting figures of actual characters from the series. But points to HT for NOT simply repainting the helmet they're making for Moff Gideon 2.0....although that's offset by the reuse of the sand base and that silly plastic energy shield lol.

And just like that TCW Maul sale numbers ticked up a bit.

Could of came out under the TCW banner years ago, but down for one to go with TCW Maul, won't rush to pre-order it though.
