Normally, when they offer an additional body, there are clothing additions in the main figure or the extra body comes with a clothing set, so that you can display multiple looks. Since this one doesn't do either, what is the extra body for? Is it just to have a seamless look or something? Thanks in advance.

original plan is to use silicone body for these body，but licensed side change idea said must use jointed body type，so roc think it might be good for extra option. （for collectors）
these silicone body is design and customized to hinata and tsunade.in term of articulation and shape，silicone is bettter than jointed body.
but these silicone body cannot listed and release as official product under naruto licensed brand.

These won't release for another year. I hope they won't wait that long to announce more characters, else the next wave will only ship in 2 years.

She does. Based on some product descriptions ive seen on preordersite, Its sasori who doesnt come with separate arms. Theyve got that new design where the top portion of the arm is jointed but the part that connects the elbow and the seamless arms is covered with that partial silicon sleeve.

Well to be fair, the timing was kinda confusing as they announced the full silicone body purchase option at the same time. I even initially thought the same thing that this probably was the body used for the tusnade figure.
Official licensor do not allow full silicone body with 'realistic parts' included as part of the figure but Rocket Toys found a way around it.
So the silicone bodies are optional purchases and will never be part of the Naruto lineup and will instead be marked as Rocket Toys bodies.
That said, silicone bodies allows much more flexibility in posing so it's a plus for those who love posing their figures dynamically.

Also outside of Naruto and Sauske, I'd really love to see them tackle Jiraiya. Would make for a really great looking figure.

With Tsunade coming out, I hope we eventually get the other two Sannin, especially Jiraiya, since the arc involving his battle with Pain that culminates with Sage Naruto fighting Yahiko is my favorite in the entire story. Seeing as Yahiko Pain is inevitable, I hope that when RT does produce Naruto, they include his Sage gear and sculpt.

Some comments from RT: they've received many inquiries about the first batch (Kakashi, Itachi, Madara) getting rereleased but no reprints are planned. However, released characters might get new versions, like Anbu Itachi. No comment on how long they have the license for or which characters will be made, aside from completing the Akatsuki.
