It was what the YT reviewer guy posted above said. And we've heard it in various forms - even from official channels - since chop socky Agro-Vader was unleashed upon the rebel red-shirts of RO.Bore? Lol, not to a child in 1977. But, perhaps there's something about more impactful about watching him on the silver screen perform a force choke, compared to on YT with a laptop?
I know what your saying here though, the advancements help.

Actually, the SDCC Sideshow Darth Vader (Anakin variant) was the first. That was 2006 I think. HT copied them lol. I still have it boxed up somewhere lol. I use the base for my HT DS Anakin. Top of lava droid head.Technically...THIS is the first Hayden Darth Vader
It most likely, but may be a little snug under the armpits. The arm holes on the original ANH Vader were bigger to accommodate going over the armor. I tried putting it under the armor one time and it hung like those cut-up shirts gym-bros were wearing for a time.

Thanks to everyone who posted the videos. Sadly, I realize there is no reasonable way to display Vader with the light up feature in an IKEA detolf. Even if you were to run a cord through the front of the door corner, it would still look so illogical.
