Hey all, I have both the Urban Dredd Heavy Armored Cop (black uniform) and the Anderson VTS Epoch Cop, both unboxed and in mint condition. Was gonna do a custom, but....usual life stuff got in the way. I also have an additional VTS helmet, lawgiver and holster, an Alvarez vest/body armor and an Urban head sculpt with helmet. If anyone is keen, I can put them up in the For Sale thread, just wanted to gauge interest! Cheers

No one else was doing it… so I commissioned an Anderson sculpt…
This is still a WIP:

What an AMAZING likeness. Your sculptor is VERY talented.

1) Is this going to be printed in such a way that it can be installed on one of the 2 existing 1:6 releases?
2) Are you considering selling painted copies that match those releases?

I ask because if that IS the case, I will buy one of those (I forget which was supposed to be best, but will likely stick with Art Figure version since I have their AF-15 Dredd) at the same time I order your piece.

I LOVE that movie - probably in my top-10 of all time - definitely in my top-20.

I’m waiting to hear back from the sculptor before I share details about how to acquire it. Details coming soon!

They know that I own a VTS Epoch Cop, so theoretically It’s made for that one.
(Consensus seems to be that VTS is better, but the Artfigure has more accurate elbow/knee pads)

At the moment, it hasn’t been decided if the sculpt should be printed with a neck or only the head. I really don’t want to change the VTS body, but I’m not sure if that neck is good enough for the head.

And, I’m afraid they don’t paint their sculpts. I’ll probably have mine sent to 357partment.

Ok, here is the info for @Heavy Metal Spike, @Lee in MI and anybody else that might be interested in one.

This sculpt is being produced by “Mitch Connors Company”
You have to contact them trough instagram:

As I mentioned, the plan is for mine to have her mouth slightly open, but MCC offer their service to change any of their sculpts to any expression you might want. So if you prefer her mouth closed, you can ask for it.

I believe the progress on the sculpt is at around 75% at the moment.

Man, if I hadn't put so much work into my custom I would totally order this. As I would have loved a stronger likeness to work with and paint up.
well…
I actually have to thank you. 😅
Years ago when you first posted pics of your custom, I asked if you were accepting commissions for more Andersons, which you were not haha…
I only had Dredd and wouldn’t get an Anderson unless it looked as good as yours.

Last month I finally decided to get the VTS figure and commission the sculpt at the same time; having yours as the baseline for how good I hope the results end up being.

I’m sure your custom will hold it’s own against the final product of this render!

Thanks for the extra info. I don't do "Instagram", but will be watching your updates with interest!

What are the chances of another company taking a crack at Dredd. Need this in the collection so bad! Would love Present Toys or SooSoo Toys to take a crack at it as we know Hot Toys won’t!

I'd love to see it, but the movie came out 12 years ago and it's probably not big or iconic enough for companies to want to revisit.

Surprising these got made in the first place. Especially with the whole debacle with the license holder. Then they go and make a blue version with hair piece for some odd reason.
