I don’t know how different all these OT versions are but ANH does seem to have used the best 3PO looks.

How is anyone thinking TW is a legit source of info? It’s CNY, nothing is shipping or releasing.

I mean, to be fair, there's been TONS of times they send these emails and the figure releases. So, yeah...there's that. Second, I never said they were a legit source, hence why I asked if there were pics about and put the sarcastic "So" at the start of my sentence. I've never ordered from them, never would order from them, never would suggest anyone order from them. Anything else you wish to be snarky about, or is that it?

It's due in April...with the way things are going lately and the early releases, it would not be odd at ALL for this to be releasing this month....so...yeah, again.

He was in coming soon pics but this seems early. This month has been a bloodbath.

He's part of the rumors for a release as soon as CNY ends (around February 15th) along with Black Adam.

I didn't save the pictures but there was a picture of C-3PO arriving at Secret Base and a one of Black Adam DX29 arriving as well.

only seen Black Adam's boxes pic but TW announcing ROTJ 3PO ready to ship tend to add more weight to Golden Rod being right around the corner too.

I really am becoming a little nervous (figuratively speaking) about the sandblasting/weathering 3PO has hopefully it won’t be too distracting

Me too. That is what is keeping me from buying a second for my endor display.

Is there a DIY solution to create the illusion C-3PO’s eyes are lit 24/7 (without the use the batteries or electrical wires)?

For the Jawas, someone recommended rhinestones with self adhesive backing for their eyes.

i bought a pack from Amazon for my 3 SSC/Hot Toys Jaws and it looks great. Not as good when lit but the rhinestones reflect external light well and you don’t need to fuss with batteries and the on/off switch.

I was wondering if there was similar solution for C-3PO, like an off the shelf DIY eye insert or something that can 3D printed?

Now this is on point, just announced...

This is released, just purchased from TBA.

That is quite sandy isn't it? I might try to rub some of that sand off and oil him up a bit so he's a bit more ANH. That base and Crumb are going to be used with Fett though.

He's been released! Finally! And it turns out great for me
Can't wait to see more pictures and videos.
