Takei’s pettiness has gotten the better of him. He needs to realize that he doesn’t have much runway left in life and move on. I’m sure Shatner isn’t a saint either but when Takei came out mocking Shatner after his space flight, it just showed what kind of a person he’s become. It literally had nothing to do with him but of course he had to chime in and try to belittle Shatner.

I wouldn’t pay $0.50 to see Takei.
I don't know their full personal history, so I can't comment, but all I know is that, just at 40, I do not have the energy to hate someone that much who didn't do something like murder my children. Especially not over a coworker from 50 years ago.
It's like when I found out Doohan didn't do the Futurama trek episode because he refused to be a part of something with Shatner. It's like, come on guys, really? If Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart can make up...

It's actually 5'6", 5'6", and 5'8.5", so closer than you thought. Close enough that Scotty could just be done with fractionally longer legs.
I've stood next to George Takei and Walter Koenig, and George is taller. You seem to be right about James Doohan, though. Most sites list his height as 5' 11" but all but a few times he was on screen with Deforest Kelley, who was 5' 10", it was clear that he was an inch or two shorter.

Yeah I always thought George was taller too but I think his build is slimmer and his posture is good so part of it is just optical illusion. George may also wear platform shoes lol. Grace Lee Whitney was 5'6" and they do look about the same height in the Man Trap.

I'm gonna use this shot from "Turnabout Intruder" and say you're right. Same height. Walter Koenig might even have been a little bit taller back then (or it's that hairdo).

I think posture, like you said, plays a part in how their heights are perceived now. If Walter still stood up straight like George, he'd look the same height if not taller, but I don't think he can anymore. He's got an old man's posture and gait these days. It didn't even occur to me when my wife and I got photos with them in recent years, but considering how much Walter reminded us of my wife's grandfather, it makes sense.

Worth noting that Walter can be seen wearing taller heels than George though.

Interesting discussion about the height of various actors (I had no idea up until now) . . .
. . . but let's point out the most important thing here 👉 that woman was breathtakingly beautiful 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

She had an ephemeral beauty and allure that she projected with even the slightest movement. Students who hate those mime exercises should take a note and her dance training also showed in the way she flowed across the screen. I remember watching Kim Stringer play Uhura for the first time On ST: Phase II and as soon as she got out of her chair I could tell she'd spent hours watching Nichelle. You can tell that Celia Rose Gooding has also studied Nichelle's physicality in front of a mirror but she has the advantage of being a younger version. She has toned it down but every so often, she does something that is pure Nichelle. It's so cool that her performance was so striking that actors want to emulate her. She was awesome.

I’m sorry to have to share this news, I didn’t realize it hadn’t been posted here on the forum yet. FlyAndFlight passed away unexpectedly a few weeks ago. He was a member of our group text chat along with @Texas Finest and some other collectors, TF received the news directly from his wife.
Sorry for the OT post, but I just learned about this. Tragic loss to the community. He was invaluable on the custom Merry and Pippin projects we worked on so long ago. He was a true gentleman of the forums. RIP :rock

From Facebook:

We can start shipping Major Kira on the 21st! Expect invoice for remaining balance next week.

Then wait a few weeks for Odo, then Pike,
then LD,
then Spock,
then Saavik,
then Geordi, Kruge...
then a few curve balls 🤭

Leaving the Solar system so we can engage our Warp Drive !

And still waiting on TMP McCoy and classic crew. Sigh...

Doubt I can afford it but if they create TOS Sulu and Chekov figures I would get all ththree
Same!
I wasn't planning on a 2nd Sulu (Mirror Sulu is sufficient) or Chekov, but this setup would look awesome.

TOS Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Uhura, Sarek, Rand, Mirror Uhura, Mirror Kirk, "Enterprise Incident" Romulan Commander, Harry Mudd, Dr. Servin & Adam, Kor/Kang/Koloth, Trelane, Gorn, Miranda Jones, Cage Pike/Number One/Spock, Edith Keeler, Apollo, Elaan, Lazarus, Natira, Lord Garth would all be instant Orders, but most don't make any financial sense for Exo-6. Tho many would sell better than Neelix 🤣
