They're both good my only thing is that I want a Nicholson setup where he has the original face of the DX8. So I feel like I would need three of those. Whatever the case I'll work it out. LOL

I'm not sure you got to check around I know like you said it's on eBay and stuff but you would have to look around I could check around to see if I see it anywhere for you but I'm not sure if it's totally sold out for pre-order or anything else

You know this gives me an idea now I made a custom Joker with the white makeup painted head and I just bought a purple suit off eBay and I got a really good body and I actually ended up making two of them and I sold them now I kind of miss him I want to buy it the stuff for him and make them again he was actually a pretty cool Joker with a purple suit I'll post some pictures of him.

Waiting on mine to be delivered and enjoying these pics. The sculpts are just phenomenal.

As much as I love the melty face sculpt I'm generally not a fan of displaying such scene specific sculpts long term. Feel I need an extra MA002 to display that head.

Still getting one of the regular sculpts repainted to use on the MA002 figure I have.

Not sure what “ninja quoting” means but since your post is directly after mine I’m assuming it’s in response to my post(s) right before yours. If the second part is in reference to me saying that Mars was going to make a DX09 KO, no way to really put a source when they deleted the Facebook comments stating so shortly after making them. This was back when they had finally released the DX08 KO, was getting some love for the final product, agreed to do a second run and before Romero Joker was even teased. So it’s been a good handful of years since they made those comments.

Love the pictures, Asta. Really brightens up the shelf. What do you think of him in hand...?

Royal Mail are useless. 5pm still no delivery, can't wait in any longer so had to have it sent to the post office. Hopefully collect it tomorrow.

I like him, but at the same time he's a bit frustrating because the arms and legs of the suit are difficult to futz.

I've tried to get as many of the wrinkles out of the legs by hitching his trousers up and pulling them over the backs of his shoes.

The arms are more of a problem with posing as the excess material either puffs out or sinks in, and has a memory of where it would rather be.

Working on his right arm I couldn't get the material to run naturally...



...until I took the bend completely out of his elbow...

So the suit is spongey? Like Lando's cape? Would water treatment help at all?

I guess you could call it spongy, because it likes to spring back to where it wants to be. It's either too baggy compared to the real suit, or just that his arms are too skinny to fill it properly.

I settled on a compromise for the right arm, and tried water on the left leg to tame the bulge at the thigh:

Been waiting for it to get dark so I can do a few lighting shots:

Anybody ever order from AliExpress? Is it a reliable site?

Mine said transport delay as well, and was just now handed over to the airline.

That's too bad, usually water will work unless the material is super synthetic. Then nothing will work.

Mine was "hand over to airport" two days ago... and only today "departed from original airport".

At this point, even if it lands in the US tomorrow, the places it has to go means the earliest I'll get this is Mon or Tues next week. That will be a tortuous 13 days since I paid...

Torture!
