Love the figures I have overall but I’d love to see Harry and Blondie with a custom paint job.

I wouldn't be too sure about weakest sculpt, perhaps it's the paintjob. This black and white photo I did really shows how good the sculpt is. In my experience the biggest complaint I have with sideshow is the paintjobs for every figure in the batch is very incosistent compared to hot toys.

A toy vendor had me inspect a Jack Burton figure once and he was kind enough to make me swap my head with his display figure's head. The head I got had a paintjob on the mouth and eyes that looked so incosistent that they almost looked like 2 different people.

Considering that these are the first and possibly last officially licensed figures of him, these may perhaps be the last great pieces of merchandise we get before Clint passes away and scalpers jack the aftermarket price

I agree with this. Also is it just me or for some reason, does his likeness comes out a bit better irl/in video than photos?

Look at this video clip I took down here.

Yeah, it isn't a horrible sculpt but if one has to go to so much trouble to see it....well. I'm not a big fan of Harry's sculpt, but I like it better than Blondie's. I love that I have it and at certain angles with the right light it works. There's something just not right. It seems squished and slightly out of scale too.

Anyone have suggestions on how to remove Josey’s hat? I have the old High Plains Drifter sculpt and want to swap that hat onto the extra Josey head I got from Toyanxiety. It seems like it’s reallllllllly on there so any advice welcome.

I like hot water. Some use a hair dryer. I dunk the head in a cup of hot water for 30 seconds or so. It should loosen the glue. You still may need to pry it off. Good luck and pry carefully.

Yeah… maybe it’s the paint job like another user said… meh.. I’m still stoked to have it and it looks awesome when you style the poncho properly

Contemplating wether to get Josey or not.. It be nice to have a rendition of Eastwood. Especially a true licensed release. But price is a bit steep though it will probably remain here and grow steadily as time passes. Started playing Read Dead Redemption 2 with the lady recently which has gotten me more interested in Western stuff. Decisions, decisions…

Don’t sleep on this one Mr. Chain Blue Lightning is the best figure out of the bunch. As far as price goes these things are just going to keep going up and up, so just bite the bullet and put this on the shelf. As far as RDR goes you’re in for quite a ride so enjoy. Arthur Morgan is one of the greatest video game characters ever made in my opinion. You choose the path, so pick wisely and by the time you finish LimToys AM figure will be on your list to get.

Thanks Mr. You got me off the hook, outlaw Wales preorder secured. It just is too good to let away. The old civil war cannon from Sideshow would accommodate him well, sadly way too rare a piece fetching very high tags.

Are they good, those LiamToys figures? How are the bodies compared to HT and Sideshow? We’ll see how the story of Morgan unfolds in RDR2, might need a representation in the collection.

Excellent choice and congrats :duff

And I highly recommend picking up the LimToys Arthur Morgan too. A solid figure go checkout the threads in the video game section for more info. Might want to play the game for awhile and make sure you like it first though :lol

Since we’re on the topic, I too have began playing RDR2 for the first time, ever since I bought my Blondie figure I’ve really been into spaghetti westerns films and anything to do with the old west. I’m halfway through it so please no spoilers haha!

Just wanted to mention that because I check this thread so often for Clint Eastwood’s figure updates and I don’t wanna accidentally stumble in on any spoilers regarding the game which has me hooked atm haha
