Here are my issues with the game.
-Very dissapointed it First Person instead of Third Person (Prefer action adventure game to be in third person and want to see the chracter)
-Voice of Indie (As much as i like Troy Baker. he's just not what i imagine how Indie sound like)
-Gameplay doesn't look at all that interesting.

I’m an avid gamer. Been playing video games most of my life. I think the game looks great and has some good elements. Sadly I’m not a big fan of *First person games but it might be alright with a little change from 1st to 3rd. I’ve been waiting to see the trailer and how cool it was posted here. This site really is a great resource for all kinds of things and not just figure collecting. Glad to get to see this. There’s a 007 game in the works as well.

What a **** title! What's next, "IJ and the Big Triangle"?

Like the name or not, it’s based on a well known archaeological fact that has great potential for interesting stories.
Everyone know it needs an 'of' in the title.

Raiders Of The Lost Ark
Temple Of Doom
Kingdom Of the Crystal Skull
Dial Of Destiny
Fate Of Atlantis.

Last Crusade can suck it.

Looks like Wolfenstein or Bioshock with Indiana Jones theme. I'm in either way. Wolfenstein 2 was amazing. If this is anything like that, I'll love it. I wish it was third person though.

What are the chances Hot Toys get a license for this?
Possible, if it does well and since they have the film rights I would so be down for this version also. Likeness is there to ford and the outfit is Raiders (gun belt and satchel strap) mixed with Last Crusade (jacket, shirt, and pants) I'd buy it in a heartbeat, I have two Indy's from DOD both Standard and Deluxe on PO. One with SS and one with OSK.

But we also know Bethesda loves PureArts.

Don't like or care for Indiana Jones whatsoever but first person is absolutely the wrong choice for action adventure imo.

Thank you for putting the cold hard truth out even without caring about the character that much, but knowing what area he fits in most when it comes to games like this. Ppl can fire and back and say "oh it will just look like another Uncharted or Tomb Raider" but the thing is that argument could be used against Lara Croft and Nathan Drake as Indiana Jones predates them. They borrow characteristic queues from Indy all over and I still like them. Not to mention, all 3 of them have a different combat style.

Lara Croft will engage in efficient hand-to-hand combat but from what I've seen her portrayed most to do is handle you with a gun or guns.

Nathan Drake will engage in rough hand to hand-to-hand combat, with being gun fighter.

Indiana Jones usually engages in hand-to-hand combat first, rough as well, but keeps it as a constant. Rarily do you see him gun fighting plus he utilizes his signature whip.

Some have fired back at me (on Reddit) saying "Well this would work against them if they were to make it 3rd person." I'm not really sure how it would since it feels like they are already working against themselves with having the game switch you from 1st to 3rd person back and forth for things like climbing a rope or walking carefully on a narrow ledge or up a ladder. Already it looks like MachineGames team are divded, not being able to decide what perspective this game should be in lol even though it's pretty clear which one he should be in due to more than one prior game of him having 3rd person, the character in general itself as you said, and it's like guys, this isn't an extreme FPS! Listen, if a person who doesn't even like/care for the character can immediately identify that the game is already starting off on the wrong foot due to being in the wrong perspective, then nuff said to me.

But it's alright, we'll see what happens. Typically, I can just let an Xbox product speak for itself these days:

● RedFall---the maybe the 20 ppl playing it still trying to get whatever they can out of it;
● Starfield---definitely alot of overhyping involved once you start ok for a bit but then the problems become clear as day also made fanbase of Bethesda clash with well Bethesda so it's heavily divisive; 6
● Forza Motorsport [8]---the base car models are still the same from years ago other than that, solid game, but that's only if you don't get too technical on critiquing [car shop talk];
● Halo---John-117 isn't getting the right treatment under 343 in terms of story, objectivly speaking I like how they have started diving into more of his regular human aspects, other than that though, story is everywhere and nowhere all at once;
● Gears of War---*gasp* where? over here? Over there? In Heaven?!
The lack of 1st party next-gen xbox games for SeriesX nothing for 2021, nothing for entiretly of 2022, and then even getting to 2023 where not coming out with much gave themselves extra time to polish things and yet here we still are when it comes to the quality. To add insult to injury ppl requested less ads with the dashboard, including Gamepass as a whole. That went in one ear and out the other as they loaded it with more making it a full gamepass hub.....

So pretty much sums up Xbox products in today's times, far from ages when bangers like Knights of the Old Republic, Republic Commando, coming out on Xbox first Ninja Gaiden, Apex by Atari, Ryse Son of Rome, Quantum Break, Old Halo, Old Gears of War, the list could go on. It's clear they want this game as their next flagship exclusive, especially considering the spotlight duration it got out of the direct and ofcourse the famous titular character. Personally, with all that switching from 1st to 3rd person perspective, I think there are going to be some technical issues. Naturally, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. Game is a smash hit? Glorious, I'll buy it. At least you're not just allowed in customizing Indy but you're primarily in 1st person like a certain other game that also didn't have a stellar launch. Anyways we'll see.

I really hope not that would be stupid and a waste. We know HT will get it cause they already have the rights to the films. But we'll see, personally I would be happy with any Young Indy HT makes.

Same I would like to see a new young Indiana Jones. I have Dial of Destiny version on preorder, thinking about cashing in on a DX05 and upgrading face and body but we'll see. Still thinking about it plus stil in a heavy Spider-Man mood.

If we get a young Indy from DOD that would be fine also. I think you should wait the dx05 is good but definitely outdated and to many upgrades needed to get it suitable.
