Thank god he's wearing the satchel strap outside the jacket.

Jokes aside, that's neat. I always found some enjoyment playing the old games, Greatest Adventures, Emperor's Tomb, Internal Machine.

This looks cool! Really hope they do him justice for once in a videogame.
It's also interesting how they've chosen to go with a mostly first-person view. Sort of reminds me of the 2005 King Kong game.

Was sad that it wasn't available for Playstation but as game turned out to be first person, not as sad anymore. I thought it would be similar to Tomb Raider and Uncharted.

Agreed. Call me simple, but if I'm playing an Indiana Jones action adventure game, I actually want to SEE Indiana Jones when I'm playing the damn game, not his hands.
If I’m playing AS a character, third person.

If the character is supposed to be ME/mine, first person.

Best example is The Witcher (third person) and Cyberpunk (first person). Made by the same developer and both RPGs but in The Witcher you play as Geralt and in Cyberpunk you are supposed to be V.

Agreed. I've always preferred third person games by and large. Even though I'm not much of a gamer in any sense.

Looks great and it's nice to see gameplay. I do hope it's a skyrim or fallout situation where you can go first or third person. But I honestly will give it a try even though I would have definitely preferred a 3rd person game.

It’s only third person when you are climbing etc. there is no toggle.

It's gameplay that determines whether it be first or third person, not always story telling narrative. Like are you Masterchief or playing as him? Are you Ethan Winters? Not always the case.

Yeah, I saw this coming a mile away. MachineGames has only done first-person shooters. So, I wasn't surprised to see this, but I'm still disappointed.

It feels like there was some backwards logic like "Who can make an Indiana Jones video game? Well, there was that Wolfenstein game where you shoot Nazis, that's what Indiana Jones does" So, they got the team that made the Wolfenstain games to make Indiana Jones, without stopping to think about how an Indiana Jones game should play.

They probably also ruled out third-person because they can't really make a game that feels different than Uncharted. So many games have a rope swinging mechanic now it would be hard to figure out how to bring something new to the table with an Indiana Jones game.

My main concern is that I've never been a fan of FPS games. I liked Bioshock, but that's about it. I played the Wolfenstein games and didn't really care for them. I started a playthrough of the first one a year or so ago on Game Pass and couldn't get out of the intro stage, something about the dogs that kept attacking me. It was just frustrating, so I gave up.

I'd love to play it but I cannot stomach first person games, genuinely it makes me a little dizzy and sick playing them.

Yes, actually. There’s a reason Master Chief has no face and very little dialogue. Bungie always wanted the player to feel like they are Chief.

Looks okay, at least it's not another live service multiplayer game. I remember Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings game trailer that blew my mind but got cancelled among the reasons when the developers saw Uncharted and got depressed lol.
