I fully understand your opinion but strangely, even if I love him in the movie and think he was perfect, I feel Alfred would be a « display killer » as you said.
And don’t know, not really sold on the sculpt. They gave him a strange groggy face…
From distance we immediately recognize Alfred but it doesn’t really look at Michael Gough IMO…

Alfred is an exception because he’s like the Batmobile, Batwing and Batcave, an accessory to Batman. It’s the reason I never sold off my Michael Caine Alfred, it makes sense for him to be off to the side next to the armory. This particular Alfred is very important. He’s always at Batman’s side. He helps with the detective work with Joker and helps bring down Penguin. He’s an active participant. He plays an even bigger part in the Schumacher movies.

What's the first truth of Batman?

He was never alone.

He had help.

Definitely a gem for sure.
Glasses don't wanna stay on tight but it's not a major issue.

You guys are really going to make me PO Alfred 😂. I’m a huge Burton Batman fan but I’m with Rondesmo, I don’t really NEED Alfred in the collection. However, he was definitely an important asset to the series so I may just pull the trigger on him…..as I do with everything ‘89/Returns related!

Jack Napier and "Bob" are the two other figures from the 89 film that I want. I don't care much about the rest. And, if Mars does them, I need the "better be sure" smile on Jack. Oh, I'd probably grab up a licensed Alfred as well if they were to make one.

Other than just a few differences like the playing card goon ranks on the shoulder that would work.
And the body types of course.

Swappable Joker card ranks would be awesome in the way of curved magnets. Then give them guns, paint brushes, paint cans, knives and of course the boombox.

You better believe I'd pick up four of those to build a full goon squad.

I've got a bunch of ninjas to back up my Ra's al Ghul, a bunch of clowns to back up my Ledger Joker, a bunch of SWAT to back up my Gordon, a couple of cops to back up my John Blake, a bunch of honor guards to back up my Police Ledger Joker, and a bunch of penguin commandos to back up my Penguin.

But right now, only one Bob backs up my growing number of Nicholson Jokers.

DiFabio, can you name each and every one of Joke's goons in that photo above?

I never knew that one guy was named Richard. I only know Bob and Lawrence.
Nope. I don’t know their names other than those three. The rest are just generalizations.

I know the Joker has two Asians (most likely picked them up when he killed off all the mafia guys, you can see the Crimelord here)

The one is the guy in the museum and dancing around on the float. The dude that Batman smashes in the balls with his steel gauntlet. The other one is the Yakuza ninja that gets wasted in the alley.

Then there’s of course the big black guy that beats the **** out of Batman.

You got the one fat dude that’s like “what is that” in the alley. You got another fat guy too.

The rest aren’t really memorable. Alot of the main ones dressed up as Mime’s too.
