Because he knew Heath would steal the movie from him so he had to do something to steal some attention away

Was it TDK where that famous piece of tape lets you hear Bale viciously berate some grip for 10 minutes because he moved in the background which made Bale lose concentration. Concentration for that voice? Now we know what that movement was... a face plant.

Or literally any other Batsuit.

The blue and grey would look great on the ‘89 suit, the Begins suit, the Pattison suit, the Returns suit and pretty much every Affleck suit.

TDK suit is unsightly as is. Throwing the garish grey and metallic blue makes it even uglier.

The voice in the last two films in Nolan's trilogy made bales Bats seem like a parody. He sounded better in BB and the BB video game back in PS2.

I've always been a comics purist long before any of these movies existed, so I'm always hoping we get more 1/6 comic-themed figures.

There has to be something not related to the movies for them to call it the “Batman 85” licence… I’d hate it to just be more 2.0’s or reissues of previous figures (though I wouldn’t say no to a 2.0 of the Armored BvS suit).

Really hoping for a comic book styled blue and yellow suit but I think most of us are.
