I guess we’ll agree to disagree. I would say that all the Sculpts are more than 80 percent accurate. Sure some aren’t nailed but they’re still undeniably Clint.

As for Clint’s approval, I don’t really think it took much for him to be amazed by the sculpts. The guy has been around before action figures became adult collectables and he doesn’t seem like he was much aware about the hobby beforehand, so seeing anything that doesn’t look like a 60s or 70s children’s doll would’ve wowed him regardless lol
I suppose 80% isn't too bad, so long as the remaining 20% isn't too jarring. Clint takes pride in his work, so you'd think someone else's would have to be up to par. Other star approved pieces are better, the stuff Sly Stallone puts out is quite nice.

The net says Everywhich way, adjusted for inflation is one of Clints biggest hits so hopefully that helps. Not sure what can be left for the line, in terms of iconic looks/outfits, since the other westerns may start to blend together.

Maybe Gran Torino? Heartbreak Ridge? The Deadpool for an older Harry?

Brono Billy? :D

Philo & Kelly (plus Harry from the 1st movie) are the only ones I wanted - while I love all/most of his movies - they are the only 3 of Clint's characters I admire enough (plus are distinctive/different enough) to make me want collectibles of them.

Heck - EWWBL / AWWYC + Kelly's Heroes are (much like Predator 2) films where I would gladly spend a FORTUNE to get all the other main characters! . . . such amazing storylines, characterisation, and casting.

High Plains Drifter would be a “must-have” for me..
That would be so damn awesome, but do you think that sideshow would do HPD, considering that controversial scene?

I can see him with accessories like a “beer n’ a bottle”, his guns, a tombstone with no name etc.

I would hope High Plains Drifter gets made. It's played fairly consistently with that scene in tact. The scene plays into who Ms. Travers is and how she's learned to survive. No one said Clint's character was an angel; and I don't mean like Clarence. Whether he's the ghost of Marshall Duncan or some spectral who is out for vengeance. It's a glimpse into a character's traits. Duncan was wronged, but that doesn't mean he was a good man.
I have Redman's Drifter figure. I'm glad I have it, but it's just okay. Credit to them that they went with what appears to be an original sculpt, but it's not good. Just like the Wales Redman released. SS has vastly improved what's out there. I would hope they would do so for High Plains Drifter.

Yeah I’m aware that it plays an important part in the film ie the towns people are such cowards that they sweep the situation under the rug despite it happening in broad daylight and right in front of their faces. But at the same time, I guess sideshow being a company could very well still be hesitant to market and sell a figure of a character and movie that portrays such a scene in the same proud and grand way they did for the other releases…

Completely understand. It is funny that they skipped him. I'm curious how far this Legacy Collection will cover. They've done or announced, in my opinion, his most iconic characters already. I know they have Premium Format versions. Will Wales, Preacher, etc. get PF's? I'm not all that interested in characters outside of his westerns. I've enjoyed his movies, but some I don't want figure representations of.

I don't think we'll see an official Stranger from Sideshow. I think it's more likely they'll do a Sudden Impact version of Harry. That is where, "Go ahead. Make my day" came from after all. Who knows. They haven't released any of the premium format pieces yet.

I want a 1/6th scale figure of Clint Eastwood as Sylvester Newel aka "Pardner" from Paint Your Wagon. If Sideshow could produce an open-mouthed, singing head sculpt of Clint crooning "I Talk To The Trees" that would be great. They could fit a little speaker on his chest where you push a button and Clint starts singing. I am getting goose bumps just typing about this.
