You know, a big part of me is not convinced that the original opening shot Endo ever had chrome teeth. Someone posted what was considered the hero puppet from the opening shot earlier in the thread and it had regular teeth. I also see regular teeth in every image I can find online, including those from Stan Winston archives. All the behind the scenes imagery has them having regular teeth too. Why would an endo even need chrome teeth to begin with? As an infiltration unit it would have regular teeth, and if the units were sent out en mass during the war, Skynet wouldn't go through the trouble of chroming their teeth. I think due to the lighting and Cameron's blue filter, they look chrome but are infact not. Happy to be corrected on this if someone can provide Stan Winston shots of the endos with chrome teeth. If not, it puts me off the deluxe even more.

Unless I’m mistaken, the “opening” shot that is being referred to with the chrome teeth isn’t from the future war scenes, but actually the final shot from the opening/intro credits roll - with the flames behind it.

Where is your wholeseller located in Germany? 2.6 (I assume with shipping) is a good price for Europe but i’m still hesitant: funky pose with two rifles (sad because i love endos with plamas), « so-called/bullsh.t » limited editions, july 2025 at the earliest, overpriced.
Regular is definitely more than enough in that case and the price easier to spread over the months.
It's an actual wholeseller for my shop. You can't buy it as a private person.

But...

...pulled the trigger.
Putting aside 75 each month, starting next month and I should be safe.

Went for broke: only statue I'll ever buy, so I went for the full piece!

So I thought about this which one should I go for? Being a Terminator Nut, I thought I'll go for the whole shebang, until I saw the asking price for this extra bonus. Don’t really like the chrome teeth version, but I did like how the eyes were point sharp on that skull. In the end I wasn’t bothered about getting it, so thought I’ll go for the one with two plasma rifles. Then I thought, I actually like the original iconic look from the movie with one gun in his hand, and wish to have that displayed. Second gun would be cool to switch it up for a change but most probably will end up in the box for me. Might as well save a bit and go for the regular as its good enough for me. I didn’t really understand the name plate, either one is fine for me.

I think the Cinemaquette one is fantastic piece, still one to beat. When it came to the Predator, Prime 1 blew Cinemaquette one out of the water. So far it looks like they’re about to do it again with this Endo, but having said that, I still think the Cinemaquette one is a great piece, both look wise and pose wise, still love it!

Cinemaquette even with it's weird pose is still special because of Stan Winston.

Would you guys happen to have any advice about it being better to go through P1 directly or through BBTS if I’m in the US?

P1 has the deluxe w/ bonus at $2235 USD, including the *estimate of $336 for shipping.

BBTS has it at $2331 USD, with the flat rate shipping and an *approx tax*

I’m trying to reconcile if the approx $100 increase is worth it to lock in as who knows what shipping rates may be in early/mid 2025.

If I run into any issues like damaged parts, etc., I also want to make sure I can still deal with it to resolve properly.

Any thoughts or insight?

You may want to try Secret Compass also, as they're in Fort Collins Colorado, and they have both the regular and the exclusive, and have pretty good shipping rates also.........:)

This is exactly correct - the shot during the rolling of the credits. Images of that original prop bust exist on the internet. The teeth were metal as that skull really went through fire during the making of the shot. The glowing eyes were added in post production for the same reason.

It didn't and prime 1 know this. The chrome bust is to give fans the option to display the T2 flame intro skull look after the credits scene.

Some fans seem to have been confused thinking prime 1 thought the intro had chrome teeth and began nit picking. God knows why they would, it's an additional option given, not design inaccuracy.

Nice. It'll only be a matter of time for me. Deep down I want that chrome bust, I'll probably end up getting it for that. The deep red LED eye better last as long as real T-800 fuel cells, I'm expecting 120 years haha

Can someone let prime 1 know that both head sculpts are missing the little hole indents (two at the top, one at the bottom).

These are even present in sideshows 1/4. Prime 1 can't get lazy on stuff like this. You might think it's small but when having a statue for many years, you'll notice it.
