So a "proper" paint job costs $2k? Im sure glad these don't come with that "higher level" of paint from the factory. Otherwise they would cost $4k and be unaffordable (even more so) for alot of people.

Don't confuse over exposure as being the paint job. This is what that head looks like close up. Black. The "white" areas are because its falling apart. I did find this pic that shows a lighter paint but the head still looks black to me. It sure as heck isn't white like the repaint

They did go quite heavy with that black stripe on these. Its too bad because its the hardest thing to correct. The 1:1 bust isn't that bad, its half the thickness of what they put on these.

Please illustrate it for us idiots where EXACTLY the softness is. Show us a picture of the detail you are talking about and where it isn't on the statue. Id also like to hear your "expert" opinion of how Coolprops should have done it without sculpting it from scratch.

The colors are just wrong for the piece. It really is supposed to be very dark.

The proto pictures really don't convey the size of it. Damn that's a big piece.

If you think about it, how many people post anything. I've only seen a few people post their 1:1 heads or anything for that matter. Not a lot of people post their stuff online.

If hes taking a crap that's got to hurt. You see those ribs? lol I actually really like that pose. Same vib as the baby alien fetal maquette. This is way better then the bend over rover pose. Sad to see all these great props deteriorating like that. Foam is great and sucks all at the same time.
