I just received a Faramir statue from Weta but there was a strange silver piece laying on the box. It definitely looks like it's come off something but I've had a look and can't tell from where. Could anyone with this statue please tell me where this came from. Thank you.

Very beautiful statue, I think i'll get this one. I do find it interesting that they show her in the combat pose from the film, even though at that time she was in her 'dark' form. Makes me wonder if there were any regrets in making her go corrupt to fight Sauron in the film? Also kind of...

It's not as terrible as I hoped, but to be quite honest I never liked the design of the Ringwraiths in that last film, i'd much rather have the other 4 True Form Nazgul from Weathertop, we already have True Form Witch-King so why not? I may or may not get this statue but regardless let's hope...

Love the robe and the fact we now have a Saruman statue with the staff, though the face looks...somewhat less detailed than the original Saruman statue.

So I recently bought the original Weta Gandalf the Grey statue from eBay and it arrived today, I'm just a little confused about it, the statue has a flat base and the black base doesn't have a peg, so the statue just sits on top of the base. This is the only statue from Weta which is like that...

Fantastic. Last bit, as I mentioned the holes in the head are slightly too small or misaligned a tad, i'm guessing a drill would fix this though I worry about how steady my hands would be and possible causing damage to the statue. Is there a type of shop that would be able to correct it?

From what I understand, artist proofs are items a company will personally inspect for quality and they're usually sold to people in the industry. Though each company seems to handle proofs differently so i'm not sure what the exact practise of Weta is when it comes to them. I was just wondering...

So what you're saying is that a hairdryer will still work on the sword?

But I am guessing that the technique wouldn't work on the polystone sword?

I believe the morgul blade is polystone, as for the spikes i'm not sure. They're not polystone, they may be rubber but whatever they are they're flexible. Would using hot water or a hairdryer damage the paint?

Oh and just thought i'd mention that i've tried fixing the pieces by bending them in the opposite direction, it works for a maybe a minute but they slowly creep back to the bend position.
