This is my experience exactly.

All I can really say is to try and grab the clip as close to the top of it as you can so you can push it down as far as possible in the slot. You can't have a lot of cape along with it as the slot isn't thick enough. But have a bit of fabric, a lot of clip, and push it in as far as you can...

As someone trying to sell some statues on eBay right now, I can certainly vouch for these statements. No one wants these things anymore.

Guess I need to figure out how I'm going to sell my fabric cape version. I'm hoping someone will bite locally on Craigslist so I don't have to deal with shipping/eBay. I live in a larger metro area, so it's not impossible.

From what I feel in the cape, I believe there are 4 wires total. 1 on the left, 1 on the right, and 2 along the bottom. The display possibilities are there, it's just so cumbersome to mess with that once you feel like you have a look that's acceptable you just don't feel like messing with it...

As much as I like the fabric cape for its potential and overall less weight/space use, messing with the cape is so, so aggravating. If I get a chance to get the sculpted version, I think I may sell the fabric version even if it’s at a loss.

Yeah, I don’t really get why one is clearly red and one is very dark red, if not brown. They’re representing the same costumes and hell, he even has the same wound on his face.

Anything below $750 would be a surprise.

Re: XM / LBS Iron Man statue ??? Well I mean they're doing Cap and Thor, and seeing as how Cap sold out very, very fast I would think Iron Man is a given. It'll be years before it ships, but I imagine it'll happen.

Well I guess they could conceivably make a Joker or a Robin but I would guess that yes the armored Batman will be the last DKR based statue.

Similar thing really....I don’t think a lot of US customers are really going to have much to go off of since it’s all just starting. I am going to GUESS that while they may be a bit more responsive, the process is still going to be long considering where the parts will be coming from.
