I agree, John Wayne seemed to be on tv constantly when I was younger. Between The Duke, Clint Eastwood, James West, Gunsmoke, and Bonanza, tv was so awesome back in the 60’s and 70’s.

The best time to capitalize on these ‘66 figures was closely after the release of the Batman and Robin. Everybody was excited and jumping on the Mars bandwagon.

I liked Rooster, but agree with you on the vest. Usually things like the vest are too thin, but this was way too thick. The sculpt was off a little and hopefully they can get a better likeness for Hondo.
