Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi - 1/6th scale Darth Vader™ Figure

Same. Hard to give up the cool light up base though.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

I think you have to stay up all night refreshing the search. I actually have set alarms for midnight after the first drop and then 4.00am after subsequent drops to check for any availability. Now a 7.00am drop! Yep, you need to pull an all nighter for sure in the hopes of securing one. I would...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS445 - Thor: Ragnarok - Gladiator Thor Collectible Figure

Can anyone confirm whether the Gladiator Thor neck peg is removable? I have looked through the chat history and closet thing I found for how the neck set-up could be was in a body swap modification where there was a photograph of the back of the gladiator Thor body core. From the photograph it...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Thor: Ragnarok - Hela Collectible Figure

Oh, great to know thanks. I will find my Alice custom, and compare with the Juice Girl proportions. Really didn’t think the older models were still available so thank you so much.

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Thor: Ragnarok - Hela Collectible Figure

Appreciate the confirmation of trial and error. I was thinking of the old S17b body back when they were under the Phicen branding. I made a Resident Evil Alice with one of those a few years back and that body was pretty short and skinny. However, not even sure if you can find those anymore.

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Thor: Ragnarok - Hela Collectible Figure

Never thought of using the armor pieces because of how they didn’t really fit well (on my copy anyway). Also, I was hoping to get a non-cloaked look ideally. However, a good inventive way to cover and is a firm option. Thank you.

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Thor: Ragnarok - Hela Collectible Figure

Thanks. I guess if I am going for the hammer breaking scene the rooted unhelmeted head would be more accurate anyway. I might give that a try.

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Thor: Ragnarok - Hela Collectible Figure

Anyone done a successful body swap with the Juice Girl figure, to hide those unseemly shoulder joints? Was thinking a TBLeague small breast figure might work, but don’t know what skin color would closely match the headsculpt color. If I had the Hot Toys version there would be no way I would...

    Thunder Toys Valkyrie

There seems to be a lot of eBay sellers now listing this as pre-order. Anyone heard about Thunder Toys doing another batch?

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Thank you for sharing that your thoughts aligned with my initial thoughts. I don’t feel like such a selfish jack-ass as much. 😃. Like all things I guess expectations can be relative to the cost you are used to spending on a figure and how easily you are able to fund it. This is my first really...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Thank you for commenting. This is my first experience with an “artisan” figure and I guess I lose sight of how limited and time consuming the headsculpt truly is. With regards to fixing the PERS myself, unfortunately I do not trust my self to do it right without marking/damaging something...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Appreciate the input. So your approach is to repair the figure myself or have them do it and let it go that I paid full price for what I expected to be a brand new figure. I can understand that approach if I can get past my expectation of quality and reconcile the expense of a figure against my...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Update: I can’t believe InArt’s response to my quality problems stated previously. It’s “Fix it yourself”! They provided a video on how to disassemble the eye mechanism and try to realign the eyes as in their words “the eyeballs fall out of the track”. I can’t believe that for an expensive high...
