Just speculation, but I‘d imagine some word isn’t too far away.
Popcultcha down here in Australia has initiated a return process for the original head and they normally source their Hot Toys through Sideshow. Not sure if this replacement is going through the same chain of supply or via a more...
Oooh, didn't realise they were re-doing this. That's a nice surprise!.
I've been wanting to add this to the collection to represent the red Mk III. Looking forward to it.
I've been tempted by this recently but I was just thinking...
Do you think threezero would ever have a go at Voltron? I'd love to see what they could do with it.
Probably fair to say its an apples to oranges comparison in terms of quality and product type but not sure about the statement on cost - they don't seem that far apart.
Woooooooo! Finally!
As a huge fan of Porky Pig, South American succulents, inkjet printers and that hole in a key where you put the keyring through, this is the grail piece I've been waiting for!
Thank you, Hot Toys!!!
I personally don't think that even comes close to the detail and dynamic nature of the Prime 1 piece.
Plus, I have no interest in entertaining any unlicensed nonsense.
I didn't think the 'cowl' looked too bad visually, but it did look terribly uncomfortable to wear given the way it was pushing down on his ears. I have to imagine that will get a bit of a re-design.
Also, I had no idea this was only 6 episodes. Wasn't expecting it to wrap up so quickly.
Well, that's certainly not accurate. Quality is far from the only pricing factor.
Hard to say without a time period. When was the last standard, sub $200 figure?
And, regardless, I don't understand how you can say there is no justification for the increase when you just noted one yourself...
I only just realised the panelling is quite a bit different on the white. I wonder if that will remain if he transitions to coloured Vision (if we see that).
I'm not sure that jockstrap panelling is a winner.
That would be my guess. In saying that, they get some pretty fine work on the hands...
Aw yeah, that's not a bad idea. Would've been a simple and inexpensive inclusion.
I thought that was odd, too. I don't really mind them using props but we're just accustomed to only seeing included accessories in the product photos. Wouldn't hurt to make the 'not included' note a little more...
I think it looks good. I don't really mind the lack of accessories.
Speaking of which, what sort of things would people want? If it was the civilian Vision, there are a few fun things you could play with but I'm struggling to think what you could include here. Maybe some dismantled Vision...
