I have no idea, though I remember when The Mandalorian was released, I read somewhere that some of it was influenced by Kurosawa's Seven Samurai - it's just weird that the influence of The Hidden Fortress has been pushed back so much for another Kurosawa classic.

I’d really like to get this figure but the issues with the suit worry me a bit. Granted I haven’t heard too many horror stories (yet) but Ray’s issue would be a no go for me. I have the Keaton versions and those suits seem to do well, no sticky ness. Only hot toys I ever treated was the Ed209...

Bought mine at luck market as well, though I wonder how big the step up is with the 100 sculpt. I remember the McClane recast was really good in the beginning, the ones offered now are so deformed it’s freaky. Still regret I never got that one.

That’s the same I got, but my total came out to 33.26. I hope these sculpts are somewhat consistent in quality so we can all upgrade the Dark Toys one.

So I got one of those eBay sculpts, and I must say it looks quite good. He looks a little skinnier than the Dark Toys one, but next to each other it’s quite an improvement. Especially for me, since I truly cannot paint sculpts.
