Mine is still in transit from BBTS so I can't say first hand, but from what the FAQ states, yes the fins (hear sink) are nickle-plated, hand polished, cast zinc. I can't wait until mine gets here! Between Michael's review and what I'm seeing here, this should be well worth the price.

I missed the original so I am stoked that Sideshow is bringing out a new one!! If it dies end up in the same price range as the Imperial Probe Droid then I hope it at least lights up! Floating would be a bonus!

Yeah, it will be interesting to see what price point (and with what accessorises/extras it comes with. I'm a sucker for this one though and will get it regardless. I'm just hoping it doesn't hurt too bad!
