He’ll be out. Wish he’d hurry up already of course, but this is a must have for me so I’m in it for the long haul. Plus I have him on flex pay anyway and only have the last payment left, which is when he arrives.

You ask them nicely, and if you have a well stated reason it helps

Contrary to popular belief, Sideshow’s customer service is actually very helpful if you treat ‘em well. They’ve given me back the NRD a few times.

I once cancelled one preorder in favor of another, and they just transferred the NRD to that.

Agreed. They are very rational in my opinion. In 8 years experience I’ve only had one minor issue with their CS.

As far as getting delayed badly....he already is. Big bummer for me too. Predators was the reason I got into hot toys. Specifically the first cleaner kit version of this, the 1.0. It’s been amazing over the years watching Marvel, Star Wars, and DC take the main foothold of everything relatively fast

Is there a vague idea for when this figure will be released? My sister and brother bought it for me for my birthday (best siblings ever!) and being un-seasoned Hot Toys buyers they are getting a little nervous about the wait

Probly 1st or 2nd qtr 2019. Got pushed back quite i bit i think. All the recent marvel stuff that has got pushed out early.

Having been primarily a predator collector back before they started doing the 2.0 versions Wolf was always one of my favorite pieces. Having sold all of those back in 2012 I'm excited to add this guy to my collection. Right now I have the SDCC Exclusive Ancient Predator, one payment left on this, then I'll eventually grab the Elder Predator (Greyback) 2.0 then I'll be satisfied with these bad boys... So I can throw all my money into the black hole that is Marvels hot toys line.

I’d just put him on ignore and save yourself from the loss of brain cells of having to read his **** posts. Never have I seen an individual claim to be such a ‘fan’ of a pariticular franchise, yet loathe pretty much everything about it. Try and figure that one out.

Same here. CH 2.0, Greyback 2.0, Scar 2.0, Wolf 2.0, Berserker, Classic/JH 2.0 and Fugitive (which I’m starting to er on the side of HT isn’t going to do it), and I’m good on Predators.

At this point in my collecting, there’s really nothing more MCU or DC that I want, unless they do a 2.0 of Reeve Supes, and there’s only a few more Star Wars characters I want.

I’d say as soon as they finish releasing the rest of the Infinity War and TLJ stuff, and maybe some Justice League stuff, then you’ll see this guy. So yeah, probably Q1-Q2 2019.

Hopefully I’m wrong though and you see him released in HK before the end of the year.

What do you guys think of the Elder Predator 2.0? I ordered Wolf from this store around my area and saw the Elder 2.0 for retail. I always thought his head sculpt was off and looked funny but for those that have him, what are your guy's thoughts?

The AvP Elder 2.0 or P2 Elder 2.0?

If the latter, I think he's one of the better Predator figures. Very highly detailed.

He looked awful during the initial proto but the finished version turned out great. I have mine put into storage currently but i may get him out sometime. I know a lot of people hate avp and disliked the elder 2.0 from that film, but i love it. The spear he comes with is cool and so is the ceremonial mask. I kinda dislike the cape though as it doesn't drap around his shoulders and neck right. The hair on the P2 elder is quite short by comparison, wish they gave him longer hair like the avp one.

For some reason I can't seem to like the face/head sculpt of the P2 elder, I completely agree that its probably the best detailed figure in the Predator line but I don't find the head sculpt that accurate, I don't know if it's the angle that people take pictures of but either way I was thinking about getting him, just want more views from others.

As expected got my email from SS informing me that my last payment has been pushed back. Guess I'll wait till January for my next one...
