If I could choose any line currently. I think I'd like Prime 1 to make highly accurate 1/2 busts in the same kind of style as Sideshows LSB's. I'd buy the entire range, all Alien types and all Predators. Chase's is good, but it's a space hog and still needs accuracy tweaks. I prefer the Giger museum backed CP head.

Where can I see photos of this? I've been looking for an Alien bust to essentially finish my collection but cool props just hasn't took my fancy with their Alien line unfortunately. I was hoping for a bust with shoulders really.

You can message him for further details...he’s affable and friendly...very cool and talented dude.

He might offer it in three different options. Head with shoulders. Head, shoulders, torso. And head, shoulder, torso, and arms.

Down the line he might produce a complete 1:1 full figured Big Chap...

Compare his Dog Alien to CoolProps...

He offers it with a much clearer dome, mainly to showcase the painting. But he will darken it for you at customer request. I believe Sisko (a member here, owns one).

He will also be working on an Alien Warrior...it’s on it’s early stages, that’s a prototype...

They are pricier than the CoolProps ones...as he really goes all out molding and painting them, he’s one of the very best. However, he might consider selling unpainted ones. He will reserve an unpainted Big Chap Head/Shoulder model for me, which will be cheaper. I’ll be painting it myself, as I have my own small airbrush home studio.

As I pointed out on my previous thread, the Big Chap will more than likely come in three options.

I’m getting just the head/shoulders myself....no torso...

I agree with you Python less place to display, 100% accurated, cheaper than chase’s one.

Of course, Chase is very talented and he will make an excellent job but I can’t afford it and also I won’t have enough place fir its bust. He also will put lots of details on it but the original prop looks like cp’s one. Simply beautiful.

Prime 1 I know they will make an awesome maquette but it will be more fil accurated than the original giger’s work! Don’t missunderstand me! It will looks really awesome! I would like to buy them both coolprops maquette and Prime 1’s one

What do you mean "holding out for"? Isn't this just a personal project by a fan? I'm not aware of any production plan for this guy. Last I heard he's doing this for something to do and to mess with his wife.

This. I only have the SS 1/2 and queen 1/4 and find them perfect. Maybe not on the accuracy but the size and poses are simple but effective. I've never liked just the head sitting on top of the gun rack look. I really appreciate fact that the SS one had the shoulders, fits nicely in the case and didn't inhibit my bills. (The queen...different story as it was an after market purchase quite recently. Lol)

But I'd loooove to see another 1/2 proper bust. I can't wait the see their 1/3 scale full aliens!!

I'm currently paying Chase Smith a pretty penny to paint my Sano life size facehugger I got from Blackheart so there's my contribution towards his alien project. Hehe.

I have just received another another mail announcing a new delay , now until december. I am from Spain and I can’t understand why so many delays on it. I don’t know if the rest of european customers have the same problem or it is just in my case. Thanks a lot in advance!
