Eh from what i recall i paid 220 for my tdk batman plus shipping from HK whatever that was years ago.
And 220 for my threezero guts plus shipping
And what 230 for my jedi luke plus whatever the shipping is.
so up 10sh dollars over what 8 10 years ago?
Sure some figures are in the 250 range and some of them might be overpriced.
But luke has LED tech, batteries, numerous hands, and we quibbling about 10 dollars because the head might be a tad off on a prototype model?
Either way it is a fine figure and if the head is as bad as people say when it comes, i will look for a custom head sculpt.
Not that bothered by the price tbh.
But prices are influenced by demand and lets say the 1/6 collectable hobby has not shrunk nm as HT built a decent rep on some its past work, on top of big name licenses like marvel and star wars and all the others they got.
Collectors will collect, nm some of these 1/6 figures go up in value pretty nicely being the runs are so limited. Even if we may personally feel that the prices have gotten out of hand on some of the figures.

Awesome! Should get mine next week from HK 
Finally ordered this from SSC using all my RP.
Now that it's out in Asia, hopefully this will ship from Sideshow in about four weeks. Seemed to be a little faster with Tarkin, but it usually seems to be 3-5 weeks between first seeing it pop up in Asia and Sideshow shipping the fig. Waiting that extra month or so is a bit of a pain though - you see the vids and everyone seems to have it in-hand then you finally get the ship notice from SSC.
