It's the same as the recent Wolverine PF.

And if holding ones value is a must, then we're pretty much in the wrong hobby. At least for most (but not all) Sideshow pieces anyway.

I agree that most SS pieces will never hold their MRSP value, that said I do think the EX of Wonder Woman will hold it's value maybe go up a bit in value... but the regular edition will defiantly be like $100+ less on Ebay after it's been out for awhile, Especially if the regular version Edition Size is like 4000+

I have no patience to wait for prices to go down (and even if I did the market doesn't really work for me here in Australia, as shipping from the US etc would wipe out any potential savings) and I'm the sort of collector who likes to know his pieces haven't been opened before; and I know there may be advantages to buying second hand, but it's just not for me, just to save a hundred bucks.

2500 EX is huge. Too big to really hold any value down the road.

The last WW PF had an EX ES of 3500, and this one is better received. I haven’t heard anyone call this one “mannish”.

The ES has no sway over me. IMO, ES doesn't matter.

As long as the statue meets my standards and it looks great, then I'd get it.

True also there’s many more ww to choose from now and more will come. So dilution will keep these lower than retail on the long run. I work in a grocery store so I need to save money and not pay full price. Will buy later for a few hundred less. This is one spectacular statue by boss man Harbottle.

Is this a good time to PO the EX or should I just wait until release? Don't want it sold out but I am not sure how quick these things go since this will be my first PF.

With an ES of 2500 there's absolutely no need to preorder anytime soon. Even if by some wild chance it did go to waitlist you could just put in your preorder then and it'd be guaranteed to convert. I'd save yourself from handing over a deposit just yet.

Sweet, thanks! Ill keep an eye on it.

The wait isnt about the ES, its about production quality. I would rather wait and see what the final product looks like rather than buying into a promise.

That’s fine if you’re confident the EX won’t sell out. 2500 sounds like a lot, but the response to this piece has been overwhelmingly positive, so who knows. I don’t mind risking a small NRD for piece of mind.

$60 doesn't sound like a lot but if you've cancelled as many statues as I have over the years it adds up really fast.... People can do what they want but it's not bad advice to wait and see... I doubt the EX will sell out before it's released.. There's so many statues on the market now a days most collectors are not rushing to pre-order anymore...

I'm buying this for sure. Love it so much, its done by ss best artists. But I will buy later. There will be plenty around even if it sells out to buy later in the aftermarket for some savings. This one and the first one will stay in my collection forever. Both so well done. I can make room for both of these masterpieces.

I'm just curious, as I know you've said in multiple threads that because of finances you wait until it's out in the aftermarket, but do you ever preorder a piece, or are most of yours previously owned pieces that you've bought at lower prices once the excitement has worn off on pieces?
