That looks nice but didn't the DX06 have a built in neck? I would be really frightened to cut a head around the jawline.

It’s not the DX06 body. That body is a slim. The one I used is an old wide shoulder Jack Sparrow body from the At World’s End figure. The neck in the pic is just a place holder so I could place the shirt collar properly. I have cut off about 3/16” off the bottom of the headsculpt neck since the hall joint isn’t as deep on this body as it is on the BCS body. But I've cut my fair share of necks off b/c I tend to prefer neckless sculpts so even if that was the case, I'd have no issue with doing it.

Also the shoulders bulging out at the sides are just a mess. Knock on the suit not your bash at all gipetto... I don’t blame your quest to try and get it better. This is one of the only things in my collecting history I was not able to salvage and deem truly useless.

Haha no worries They don’t bulge too bad in person. I’ll try to get a better pic later, I’m just not a good picture taker it helps with the size of the head, at least in my eyes. It’s the better fix for me than spending more money on a custom suit.

You are definitely right about the wide shoulder body proving the head is perfectly scaled. Its a shame about the body more than the suit as I've said before had they tailored it to a properly proportioned body 75% of the problems would have been alleviated with this figure.

Need to say biggest problem is the vest with such tide jacket.Without vest under I got quiet polite look of figure.But vest destroyed all proportions.Is any possibility to make it (westcoat)softer with no destroying at all?Maybe some weathering?

I wrote BCS 5 days ago asking for a replacement. Still no reply. I’m not buying any other figure from them until they solve my problem.

"The latest we've heard is that the heads are being manufactured at the moment, that's the latest update.

It seems a little unfair to criticise BCS for making a vest that's too tailored, but unfortunately the vest is so detailed that it makes the figure look bad. It is literally like a real waistcoat shrunk down. I basically cut ALL the lining on the front, and the poppers, and in my opinion it looked much better. Still need to stick some magnets in to make the vest close.

Still waiting for BCS to send my replacement Goldfinger head who came with a nasty nose rub. It’s been sitting in the box since it came in December. Needless to say I will NOT be purchasing anything from BCS ever again after this ordeal.

i am not paying 250 for a figure with a crap body i have to replace and a poor tailored suit and a possible nose issue- i was going to go for all three at once from BBTS but after reading more and more comments from OWNERS of these I have given up

The nose rub is a shame. The figure itself is actually pretty good in my opinion. I guess ironing the suit could help. Will give a try later.

I hope BCS writes me back to assure they will send me a replacement head.

OK, so March is gone... wondering about those replacement heads myself. Last I heard they were supposed to be shipping direct from the factory during the month of March.

Thanks for that, overlooked it.

Hopefully we're hear something soon. I wonder if the heads will be noticeably different in skin tone or anything? v2 so to speak. Considering these are getting made at least 4 months later there's likely to be some paint color variation.

Someone here said they got two heads from the same batch that were different as it was.

I’m hoping the paint is more durable and not as easily damaged like the hands have been reported to be.
