So did anyone actually get it who's relying on the e-mail notifications and wasn't already watching the thread or webcast? Looks like they're trying to pick the magic time limit that will prevent notifications from being effective.

I entered the code within 30-seconds of getting the Tapatalk notifications, and it was already expired.

I really don't see the point of two minute codes, especially for such small amounts. Surely they're annoying/frustrating more regular customers than they'd be pleasing. And over a relative pittance, to boot. From a marketing/promotional point of view it just makes no sense to me.

I’m done buying from SS...trying to get somewhat of a discount and the site won’t load and it’s expired in the time frame , no monthly codes , I’m done with them . It’s just not worth it anymore

About time.

Big laugh for them at the offices.

Its all very "let them eat cake".

The person who posts it on the forum will probably have spent the time to log in and add it first and confirm before they come here to post so that's a good amount of time spent especially if the code will expire fast :lol

Which makes sense, if they’re really only wanting to reward those who are actually watching the live shows each week. They’re likely aware of the thread here, email chain, etc and their perspective is “Why reward all these people who aren’t even watching the shows?” So shortening the code time from three minutes to two reduces the amount of time someone has to log on, enter the code for themselves, and then post in the forum.

The only thing I see wrong with that mindset, is with all of the available channels for viewing the live shows, if viewers are to be “rewarded” for watching, then why limit it to just YouTube?

Yeah, that's a good point. I got the code today myself, but it was the first one in awhile that I grabbed. I still really like SSC customer service and flex pay option, so I'll stick with them a bit longer. Hopefully $20 codes come back in February.

I occasionally watch the Live shows if I'm available at work or not working that day, but even when I do, I don't read comments or out "hunting" for codes, just want to see a reveal of a new statue or what not. Sideshow employees do post and read our forums if you didn't know already so that's a possibility, but yeah, I don't even bother with codes anymore really, don't wanna bother hustling like that for a few dollars :lol

I posted the code as soon as it was revealed. I was already in the forum. I do not that often so I am ready to share. Sorry for everyone who missed out. My first code in a while. I do sit there and watch the show at work tho.

SS is live now. They are active in the YT chat, but not the FB one, and they gave a code away yesterday, so I don't expect them to give us another one during this live stream.

At this point, reward codes are more insulting than anything. IMO, better not to have any at all than limit to 2 minutes. Or better to just put a claim limit, such as the first 100 people to enter get the code.

Are we dancing around any monthly codes? I didn't get anything on my Star Lord. Just curious if any are out there in regards to planning my orders.

I have three figures arriving over the next week. Be disappointed if at least one box doesn’t have a code. Considering between the three figures shipping was over $57.

That is plain outrageous. I could live without box codes if the shipping would go back down.

Order elsewhere if you could, that's probably our best option. Doubt Sideshow will lower their shipping so just order from some place else that better suits you. That's what I'm doing at least, as well as a few other collectors.
