I have the first wave of the BAF zamasu series on hold at gamestop and will pick it up with the game tomorrow night.
Really looking forward to getting into FighterZ, the beta didn't work well for me.

Competitive fighting games annoy the **** out of me, actually. It just comes off as Crapcom level stuff like the Marvel vs Capcom series.
To me, Tenkachi 3 is the best game in the DB history. I just wish we could go back to that mechanic, with a giant character roster.

Yeah it's very archaic, but I think it's the truest to the anime fights the franchise ever got. Although DB Legends had the the closest speed of the battles even though the fighting mechanics were very subdued.

Im super excited for db fighterz tbh. Ive always wanted a proper fighting game for dbz, there was one for the 3ds but because of the platform it didnt really take off. I had always thought dbz being an anime type fighter (ie blazblue, guilty gear, UNIEL) would be very fitting. Dont get me wrong i loved BT3 it's one of my favorites along with legends and budokai 3, and i have a soft spot for final bout (as terrible as it is lol).
I think the thing we have to understand is that arena type fighting like tenkaichi, raging blast etc are just different games and format. I see it as choosing tekken or street fighter, a 3d fighter or 2d fighter. And really capcom stuff use to be great back in the day even up till SF4, i always wanted a DB game like mvc. It's only nowadays that capcom is cRapcom lol For a fighting game enthusiast like myself who's grown up with DB series as a whole this is a god send. Also, db fighterz is closer to being an anime fighter than a capcom type fighter despite the team mechanics in it.

had a chance to see it in person at frank and sons at ageless geeks, they have it imported but they were selling it for 60 (im sure it's well worth the money), but i have it POed for 40 so decided to wait, but i was pretty tempted, i cant wait for this release!
Glad I got this but I still got Yamcha and Ssgod Goku to catch up with.
Anybody speak Japanese here? It appears there is some pretty good amount of info in regards to future plans for the sh figuarts dragon ball line.

I didn't get much from that interview other than them looking forward to the future. I would be interested if there's more information that I wasn't able to analyze.
The only thing that was explained to me was their plans to expand on the Dragonball franchise (not excluding Z, Super and etc) and more Buu saga characters.
