Killer pics! Haven’t tried the one handed saber poses yet. Will try them this weekend

Well, he’s unboxed and put together. Simply put - a jaw dropping piece in almost every way. The paintwork looks flawless and the material is sturdy. The number of switch out arms is very impressive and nearly all of them look great. Personally, I like the cape. Will it take some time to get right, sure. But it will look great once it is.

Now the cons. I know a lot of us don’t turn on the lights on our statues, but this had killer potential with 4 light up areas and IS dropped the ball by making those 4 areas activate through 3 different switches (2 of which require removing the pieces to get to the switch). However, IMHO, the lightsaber and the spotlight look great when lit and, thankfully, they are able to be turned on through a button on the base. My only other gripe, and it’s small, is the lightsaber is crooked when put together. This looks like it might be able to be fixed, I’m hoping so cuz it’s the first thing I see.

Simply put, this is the Vader I’ve wanted for a very, very long time. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. He’s as great as everyone is saying.

Just turn it into its base and should be much better.

damn guys... this thing is ****ing ridicolous .... by any good means.. Im still in awe.... This thing is all I ever wanted from a Vader statue.. and in 1/4 scale.. I can not be any happier at this point.. I finally have the feeling I can quit collecting because this Vader give me all I want in my Star Wars collection.

I had the Sideshow Vader... This one here puts it to shame with ease ...

TO all you.. who are on the fence.. get it.. I know there are some great pictures and videos.. but if you see this BEAST in person.. its unbelievable !!!

PLEASE IRON STUDIOS ... Continue with your 1/4 scale line...

I copied your cape pose and love it even more now. Thanks, you nailed the look but need to lose the saber on his belt! :) This piece is so epic.

I like the way you have his cape....really thins things out and shows the base and saber well. I might play with this on mine.
Thanks I felt like the cape was a bit much. If you have it flailing all over it covers up a lot of the base which I wanted to showcase as well. I might mess with it same more and have it more off to the side behind the saber like it's blowing in the wind.

I wanna see a closer up pic of what you've done with his cape back there! Looks good from here.
All I really did was bunch it up in that back and then bent the wire frame tight to his shoulders. His right side of the cape was a bit tougher to get to lay naturally in the back for some reason.

He arrived today and I just finished unboxing him. When I was finally done putting him together I just had one question running through my mind.... why? Why, why, why, whyyyyyyyy did they have to make his cape so friggin HUGE?!! It's seriously ridiculous. :lol

I can’t stop futzing with this guy, I swapped out his left hand and finally fired up his belt and took another picture. This piece just has me mesmerized right now. Loving everyone else’s videos and pics as well!! Keep them coming!
