:exactly: even the generic attempts to top the articulation doesn't hold up IMO..

No figure company so far can hold a candle to what HT has produced even with the minor flaws

who/what brand did that knock-off? I mean it's not even apples to oranges in comparison!

I usually don't take sides, but I'm rooting for the Hot Toys seamless body regarding endurance. I like Phicen/TBL but their offerings aren't consistent. Yoy can buy two (2) of the same Phicen bodies at once from same source and one will last while the other deteriorates fast. So yes, I hope what HTS released with WW continues/ has staying power. But my instinct is that no company has yet mastered the art & science of the 1/6 scale seamless body.

Can’t wait

Has Sideshow started shipping her out yet? I know sometimes when they still say pre-order they usually end up shipping them out.

The allocated early shipment started earlier this month..the full shipment is supposed to be oct, so it should be in a couple of weeks

I agree. Her face is slightly wider which doesn't make her look like a Barbie any more.

I don't know if it is because it is wider or not, or if it actually looks more like the actress or not, but I completely agree that it looks far more like a real person rather than a Barbie.

For me it's the fact there's actually some expression in the JL (blank Barbie does not a realistic figure make)

Plus it definitely seems more accurate

Also agree jury is out on actual likeness to Gal, however definitely looks more like a real person. Which in my books is a step in the right direction.

:lol

The sculpt used for the JL figure looks good but still better on the training armour version. The figure it was made for with the hair combed back.

Hopefully the two regular armour figures to come, WW and JL, both get new sculpts and at least one of them with sculpted hair.

Yup and it’s good to know that they are still going with this formula for the TA hs

This HS is spot on if it stays this way

Looking at that film picture Gals face is wider, or at least the proportion of height vs width is lower. So the JL version could be the closest of the lot.

True but it’s perspective.the film shot she is raising her head while figure is facing slightly downward

I still say it’s 95% close

That is the JL sculpt though. They just stuck the rooted hair over it.

I imagine when the full prototype is revealed we'll see an entirely new sculpt. Same way I can't imagine them keeping the BvS head on the JL Superman when they finally put that up for order. Just placeholders.

I think that the JL suit is going to be much darker as well as well as a different HS for the final release

The problem is now Bats looks so comic gimmicke, and WW looks too drab :slap
