I fixed her cheeky issue....but it was a little work....the skirt was glued incorrectly....

I think the problem with the skirt and the hip joints is the piece in the hip that pops onto the joint can slip out of the leg material. Or it just isn't popped in all the way, after the legs are processed and assembled.

Either way, it's a big production screw up that they're hopefully made aware of. Otherwise, I could see it affecting the next Wonder Woman release.

Super late to the party as usual, but I wanted to add a few more photos to to the already amazing shots you guys have made... I won't say too much about this BvS WW, except that mine was worth the ridiculous wait... assuming there will be a JL version of this, I will happily have two of these in my collection. Without further ado, the pics - enjoy!

Amazing pics! The color of her suit looks really great in those shots. Did you futz her hair or anything? I haven't had the time to even bother with mine, as I'm still waiting to hear back about the belt issue from the retailer.

One minor thing to note, the armband should be switched to the other arm and sits a little high atop her bicep. I know this mostly because I kept obsessively looking at reference materials for the harness, completely oblivious to the fact that it had changed in between BvS and her solo film. :lol

Thank you DarthBakura! Other than just bringing a little bit of the hair around her face, her hair is pretty much out of the box - for rooted hair, it's really well done.

And yeah, I totally goofed with the armband - moving that to the proper arm right now :)

Great pics! I think the head sculpt on the new JL version is much better, but still looking forward to finally getting mine early next week!

Thank you koolkollectibleskhai! I will definitely be picking up the JL version as well, but I love this one too. Post pics of yours when she shows up!

I folded one side of her hair behind her and brought a small segment of the other over her shoulder. Outside of that, I've not done anything. That simple little thing makes a huge difference. Very strange.

Some practicing with different hair movement with posing...
Great job on the poses and pics, and of course great job on the hair!!! I'm going to keep a tap on your pics for reference for when I finally pick up a Wonder Woman figure! Thanks for sharing.

This is a good example of a simple pose done well. Most of us like Hot Toys and other high end figures for the "realism"; but sometimes a pose can make or break the illusion. An unnatural pose can make the best and most realistic sculpt, paint app and costume look like a "toy"; but a natural pose when a figure is actually standing like a real person does, even when that pose is simple, can make it seem so much more realistic.

Well said. It's fun to play around with them in action poses and some figures do look even better in them, but the "museum pose" really shows them off as something more than just a regular toy (of course they are "toys" in some sense of the word).

Wow thank you Jaymas - It's taken me a while to even get halfway good at posing figures, but I do definitely aspire to achieving simple but realistic poses. Ironically, the seemingly simplest poses (for me at least) take a lot of work, because the tiniest change in something like the flex of the torso or the tilt of the head is the difference between "this looks like a toy" and "this looks like a person". Posing these figures realistically is a legit art form :)

Great movement in that hair, Guyver!

This is my first Hot Toys figure, and I'm pretty impressed by the quality. I didn't care for that hinky rope, though, so I made a new one from jewelry wire. It was a battle, and I needed to replace part of the strap, but I like it better. Here's a peek...

I opened the box, looked at the figure, thought "this head sculpt looks just like the Knock-off head sculpt (btw: it really doesn't)" and got p***ed off! Thank God you all talked me through that. The sculpts are remarkably different. And the more I play with and pose WW, the more I realize it's a 1/6 scale phenomenon. This is by far Hot Toys best female figure. Sure, some still have issue with the facial portrait but as a whole it's number 1!!!!! Go Hot Toys!!!!!
