I feel like Royal Guard will get released closer to or after the Emperor. And he didn't look ready. Death Star trooper is possible but as Tarkin had the official tease I'm actually gonna go with him. With trooper to follow after.

Just left SDCC. Spent a lot of time at the SSC booth. Disappointed no Lando. But happy to see Tarkin, Anakin and Endor Luke & Leia. All 4 looked fantastic! Still hope they make Baze too...
You didn't by chance ask SSC what the story is on the HT vs SSC Snowtrooper Commander situation?
Unfortunately no. I did ask them about Baze, and the Sandtrooper sergeant, which they just said "as far as they know" they will be released by HT. The Snowtrooper Commander I just figured was definitely property of SSC since it was in their 1/6 collection case.
I would imagine that was a potential underhanded shot from HT. I remember some story from a few years back where Tamashii was supposed to show their R2 again at another convention and were forced to take it down. This was before SS revealed their R2.
One other interesting thing with the HT Snowtrooper commander, it wasn't on display the first day of that con, when a flood of pics usually happen, it only showed up the next day and I'm not sure it was on the HT pics on their Facebook page, might have only shown up on plastic enemies. Then it was never seen at another show again.

So as to be expected no TLJ figures shown by HT. But i swear if HT make Poe like the latest pics with just a leather jacket almost identical as Finn ill chuck a wobbly !!!

I'm sure HT has a lot of prototypes waiting in the wings and the Snowtrooper cmdr was/is probably one of them. It's very likely this got sent, then set up in the booth before SS, HT, and Lucasfilm got a chance to compare notes and release schedules. Therefore since SS was further along, they were given the green light from Lucas Licensing. Hence the HT version got benched.
On another note, Kevin said at the booth that the head shown is the soft rubber helmet versus the hard (resin) that was used on the last (D23?) showing. So that makes sense.

The 6 were announced in preparation for HK ACG this coming weekend. They have marketing material showing just the six on HT Secret Base Facebook. I think that's it. Guess StarWars just isn't big enough in Asia compared to Marvel...

Yes but now you can actually PO them. Really thought there would be a SW PO given all of those prototypes shown and only 1 month till TLJ Force Friday.
