That looks way better than HT lmao.

It does, which is why people pay him thousands of dollars for his work. However, what he is doing is using a plastic toy head as a canvas to paint on, thus, his work only looks good on certain angles, because he is just changing the look of the face with paint, a bit like a 2D painting. He can't change the profile because that requires more than just paint, which is why there are no profile shots of his work. That being said, the face shape still needs to be some what accurate for the full effect, in this case the jaw shape on the cheap Jacks figure was pretty much spot on, so he had something to work with.

Thanks man. I tend not to have a filter. As you can see I already have a new fan. Lol. Apparently I offended him or he had a dream that I touched him inappropriately. Lol.

Awesome pic! :clap

As I suggested last night wouldn't it make more sense to give the solo movie figure a normal jointed body. That way at least those who hate seeing joints could cover them with the cloak.

Except with the cloak on, the point of a more dynamic pose friendly body would sort of be nullified since she doesn't really do any hardcore battle with the cloak on that would make for great dynamic poses.

Still love it and just don't understand when people say it looks nothing like her.

You know I got to be honest here, based on that screen grab, the teeth on this sculpt don't really look THAT off the mark. They do appear to be slightly too wide on the sculpt to where the two front teeth fill up a bit too much of the length of the mouth, but I do see what they were looking at and going for.

Like TFA Rey sculpt, I really don't think it's going to be a big deal in hand.

Going by how they look in Dean's review I would have to disagree, they look way off to me, for reasons I will not go into as it would be redundant.

Do you remember how many times Dean complained about them in his review? I think I lost count! That being said, from what I recall, I am Toys never mentioned them once in his review, so I think some people will be bothered over this issue and some won't.

Of course. This seems like a figure where either you simply like it, or you don't. Similar to the DCEU films (with the exception of WW) thus far.

I keep zooming in on that particular comparison picture that I was referring to and looking at the teeth on the sculpt, and I'm really trying to find something that I just really don't like about it, but I honestly really can't. It just doesn't bother me and they don't look that horrendous to me. Could have been a bit better, yes, but they just don't look terrible in my opinion.

The main difference I see in that comparison is that the lips aren't quite wide as wide or as plump as they should be, which makes the expression look a bit less natural and almost like she's pursing her lips or getting ready to blow someone a kiss.

WW is here!

Honestly all do respect to Deanknight..I love ya , but maybe it's just my experience with Seamless bodies talking , but seriously freaks, I can tell you this is not a delicate Phicen.

This seamless is tough and very heavy in substance used. Honestly this reminds me of the very durable phicen bodies that started for Phicen. Super tough .

I'm almost convinced now that I have her in hand ..it's very strong. Moving her arms does not cause instant creases , those people must be really rough and tough I used one of my old techniques to move the arms and works like a charm.

I can tell the only way you can possibly cause huge creasing is keeping her in the extreme pose for a long period of time .

But rest to sure this body is designed to last. It has a very thick percentage of rubber more than silicone Which is good because it is that thick durable type of rubber that when creased does reform after a bit.

As I thought the fact that HT split the legs apart instead having it one piece will help in the duration of leg articulation because it's not really rubbing against anything.

the sculpt is fine and I will agree not 100% Gal but it is her no doubt about it as WW. The mouth expression with the line in the teeth is kind of a nuisance IMO .

The rooted hair is frizzy, but I love how it naturally flows and mimics the shape and texture of real hair. And the tint is completely spot on to that lovely color in Gal's hair.

The skirt is paperybut this won't be an issue because it sits well with the armor.

So now I will be working on pics. Stay tuned

Waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't heard anyone complain about HT shipping delays in a while. Mine was recently pushed back to aug/sept. I don't have the luxury of prior HT ordering experience, but I didn't expect any more delays post release...is this normal? If I ever order again, is their a US vendor who might ship quicker? I'm approaching my one year anniversary of ordering this thing. I could have made an entire human being myself in this time (with the help of a volunteer, anyway).

:lol :lol :rotfl:lol Some people take things so personally!

The irony here, is that he is complaining about what you said, yet the take home message I got from watching your video was that people should just chill and not stress over things people complain about, not what they should or shouldn't complain about.

Same. :duff

Cool! I look forward to seeing your pics. :hi5:

I think by this point you either see Gal or you don't. You like the figure or you don't. Stay or move on because reading the same thing over and over is getting old.

Yes, that would be the downside. There is no true best of both worlds solutions but I just figured if one regular armour WW is going to have exposed joints it would make most sense on the solo release. You could at least still museum pose her with the cloak on. She didn't wear it in BvS and I assume she wont in JL.

I'm happy with the figure we are getting, was just thinking about those that really want her in more dynamic poses. At this stage the only interest I'd have in another regular armour WW would be picking up a parted out head sculpt if they do make significant improvements. The detail in the body and armour on this figure look exceptional.

And here we go

Pics don't do it justice..looks like Gal as WW IMHO, the best figure representation of Gal as WW so far..I love the skin texture and the shiny tone, gives her that ready for action

I know people will disagree, but I stick to my guns :wink1:

The armour looks just gorgeous! The slight shine on the body seem to works well.
