I've been a collector since 2011, joined the boards but do t have much to say, mainly for new figure announcements, blogger reviews, etc. This is the first time I ask for a code, and will be the last one

Anyways, congrats to everyone who has gotten the mail from SSC. I haven't gotten one, but think it's pretty cool of them to surprise random customers like that.

I don't even mean from Sideshow. I'm fine with complaining that Sideshow didn't send one out, because if they do it for only some people, they should do it for all, but obviously that's not the way that Sideshow works. I mean asking forum members to PM you a code, and then when no one gives you one, complaining on the forum again. Box codes are hard to come by, and everyone wants one and needs one and they expire fast. It's always tough to get one, and there is no shortage of people who need them, especially with a lot of orders not being filled for a year or more after preorder.

Ok ok, I think I should clarify... I've given every single code I got in the boxes away to members of this board. When I tried to use a code that someone posted and it came back as 'already assigned to another user' I asked.. what gives.. someone pointed out, 'dude someone else got it before you, if you want one for your own you should ask peeps to pm it to you' that's what I did. I followed 'your rules' still got nothing.. not complaining, just pointing out that it becomes a catch-22 around this parts... As it is now.. no worries, very happy with my 50 bucks code... carry on

Got the $50 post card and used it on Wonder Woman. Definitely a nice surprise as I haven't bought anything from Sideshow recently, but this sure worked! Couldn't believe that I could use it on any item over 200. I figured it was going to be for the old figs only.

now that hot toys seems to be doing exclusives on their end and no longer a sideshow exclusive item with the figures , i may only order from Sideshow 2 more times to clean out my rewards points.

it seems i can order with timewalker get the exact amount i will pay, price of item and shipping when i preorder, no need to wait for any rewards points , and its about $0.50 to a dollar within sideshows prices if i use a $20.00 coupon for the figure with sideshow.

Nowadays when ever i check out with sideshow on a pre-order item, the Shipping will display as Shipping Quoted later, and their prices always seem to be increasing so come a year down the line when the item ships i will probably end up paying $5.00 more then my total would of been with Timewalker toys or bigbadtoystore , and you have to wait for the rewards points to clear

what a big hassle to get the item 2 weeks before the others suppliers start shipping

I thought I had found a loop hole and ordered a couple items that totaled over $200 and it let me apply the coupon on the first page but when it got to checkout it took it off. Oh well. I guess I better find something over $200 itself.
