They are making it easier for the casual player. Multiple articles have reported that the Hadoken/Shoryuken movements (which aren't that hard to do anyways ) have been replaced by double-tapping down.

So yeah, I can see this being released on the Switch and the Joycons.

Okay, if it requires 23 GB to run on a PS4, how will it run on the Switch? I thought the Switch doesn't have much onboard memory?

The game size is 23 GB uncompressed on PS4

Nintendo Switch cartridges can hold up to 32GB at least

The Story mode of Infinite is 2 hrs of video rendering which probably explains the game size

PS4 / XBOX one have 8 GB of video RAM

4 of which is dedicated to the Operating System running idle

Switch has 4 GB of faster video RAM

Switch and XBOX One have the same GPU processing power (roughly)

Docked of course

Marvel v Capcom infinite is not a graphics intensive game

Nintendo allows expandable memory storage via micro SD cards

Up to 2 TB

I have a 256 GB micro SD card in my Switch I am going entirely digital this time around

For those that buy physical cartridges it's irrelevant
Since all the game data is stored on the game cart
