SSC Jason Voorhees Sixth Scale Figure

I received 4 PMs with addresses for the Chevrons (Patriot666, SilentSurfer, Sir Gor and harvey2face). They're all addressed, stamped and ready to be dropped off.

The decals are pretty straight forward and work like what you'd expect. If you've never worked with them before, you can look up tutorials; but basically 1) cut out the shape (I'd recommend as close to the red as possible) 2) dip the decals pieces one at a time in warm water 3) slide the decal off the white backing and 4) position the decal where you want it to go and let it dry.

If the placement isn't to your liking, put a drop of water on the decal and it should lift up and be able to be moved around, but don't do this too much as the decals are thin and can get damaged. I included a extra set of decals just in case you have any problems.

If you can, making the surface shiny first will help them stick better. What I do is use a spray glosscoat (testors makes one in spray can for $5). Spray one coat, let it dry. Apply the decals, get them where you like and once those are dry apply another coat of the gloss to seal them in place.

I've just received mine. The chevrons luckily seem mostly straight and proportionate. He did have the left foot issue. I can't even pose the foot without it falling off at the slightest touch. The right foot is fine.

Overall I am a bit bummed by this release. He feels very short on the shelf, I have him next to Ash and they are about as tall. I never thought Bruce C. was as tall as Broker. I agree wholeheartedly about the hock. It doesn't look like the part 3 to me.

All in all, for the price, I'm definitely disappointed. Not Broker enough to really pass as the part 3, doesn't feel tall enough, not enough accessories (where the hell are the fisted hands SSC??!) and poor QC issues. I really hope Freddy comes out better...

Sorry for you guys who are getting issues and overall not enjoying the figure I'm really loving mine. Not completely accurate and for the price can be looked down upon but for me I'm really happy. I cannot wait for freddy hope he comes out as good.

I guess it depends on what issues you are dealing with; chevron, foot, etc. that your love or hate will increase or diminish. On further inspection I'm really enjoying this release. If you are looking for a Part 3 Jason you might want to look elsewhere this isn't it. It's got remnants of it, but isn't it.

Hands, that's a bit of an awkward stance for Jason.

The foot on the logs. In general it doesn't seem very Jason. Kind of "get a load of what I just killed" vibe. It's also the body. It does not flow naturally. It looks better in the second pic. It also doesn't help that Mezco's (I think that's the maker) Jason has a yo yo what's up look.

Emailed SS about the Chevron issue.... I will update as they do.

I would really like this figure....but that off center chevron is un acceptable at this price...if they fix it by sending a new head.....I think i will love the figure.

After an arduous journey from the west coast to the east coast, my Jason has arrived! I'm very happy with him. Mine doesn't have the foot issue. The chevrons are off a bit ,but not enough to bother me. I think the only thing I will do to him is mod the neck a bit so the head sits lower and a light spritzing of blood here and there. I'm also digging the big machete. I think it has nice presence. Overall, very happy.

One thing I did instead of trying to lower the neck is pad out the sides a little. Solved the gap problem without losing any height.

Added some foam packed real tight on the sides of the neck. Nothing more.
