So, felt like **** for weeks now... woke up at about 3pm today thanks to benadryl, get on Warcraft, learn one of my guildmates died. Not the sort where you respawn, the real life death. Being a ****** year.

Secret Santa has been shipped off! Apologies, as participating from Canada it's coming directly from the U.S. website (actually NOT Amazon! ) so it won't be wrapped...but it'll be in a box! And I'm sure there'll be bubble wrap? Maybe? There'll definitely be a box! That I can definitely confirm. I tried to go for something I believe the person I got wouldn't have bought themselves...always tough in these cases, but I'm fairly confident this won't already be in their collection.

I won't say anymore though, no matter how much Brad Pitt begs me to do so...

Yeah my wrapping is horrid also. Although I probably would of taped the death out of the packages so no one would be able to get in it [emoji38]

I shipped to my Secret Santa without wrapping either.
The way I wrap, it's probably best anyway... or maybe it would have been good for a laugh.

My wife wraps nicely...my mom wraps like a pro...I literally tear paper apart sometimes when wrapping. I'll have the roll, and sometimes I'll just be like, "Man, these scissors are taking too long to cut it." So I tear, and it makes some weird...diagonal tear, and ruins the sheet and the next one for whoever uses it. Then I'll place the item in the middle, and fold over a side, and then the other side, and it'll be terrible, and then I'll fold it over again, likely, as there's always so much excess paper, and then I'll go to make those nice corners, and it's not even, white is showing, and I yank out some tape and slap it on.

It sounds ugly, and it is...but it covers the gift, and in the end, isn't that all that matters? Well, probably not...things looking nice is always good too, but I'm infamous for my wrapping now, so it's too late to try and learn. And it's not that I've always been this way! I used to try and make nice, even cuts, and fold things properly...and it still ended up looking like it does now. It's like me and folding towels properly...it was just never meant to be.

Haven't shipped mine yet. I had to resort to ordering something online this time around, but had it shipped to me... I probably should've had it shipped directly to my person to save me the extra shipping cost. But I do have some other stuff to toss in with those items so it's probably better to send it all together anyway. I'll send out as soon as those items get here... hopefully soon.

Going to send my SS's present today. My wrap job is horrid, I can barely tape a box as is.
