My LCS got in their S.H. Figuarts Donnie and Leo. Do y'all think this company will make 1990 Movie Turtles?

No clue but I would be all in for Figuarts movie turtles. Neca's 1/4 movie turtles look cool but are just way too big to display in my small home.

They are perfect (except my Leo's 2nd headsculpt has a grey spot on his forehead. Although these don't fit anywhere in my collection, I'm sure I'll find a spot. Bring on Raph & Mikey. It would be cool to find a diorama. Maybe I'll use a piece of the old sewer playset for now. In the meantime, here are some pictures:

There's been rumors going around that Figuarts will be doing 1990 Turtles as well but we'll see... NECA will be making thier's in 6/7 inch but question is when.

I've noticed that some figures toys change colors unevenly due to using different plastic composition on certain parts (e.g. darker pink thigh of SHF Pink power rangers). I'd be more comfortable with NECA movie 7'' figs.

Yeah I mean I'm getting 1/4 versions but would love 7 inch movie Turtles even though at this rate it would be an Con Exclusive....

Those lair shots look good. I'll have to put shredder in my technodrome once he drops.

Maybe a Foot Soldier or Casey Jones. Didn't they mention Casey Jones in one of the promo videos before SDCC 2016?

I feel like Foot Soldiers are a given w/ Shredder coming out & they would make money off of ppl army building the Foot. I hope for April, Splinter, Bebop or Rocksteady, Casey... in that order. Definitely will be disappointed if we don't get a new character prototype or even a sign that says "coming soon"

Hey, could you upload a pic of your Leo head with the spot on it? I'm curious about it because I'm having similar QC issues with mine.

If they are I'm getting them tomorrow.

Well I saw several pictures popping up on Instagram yesterday with 'English' comments so I suppose it's out there.

I just noticed that the paint got stuck on the tape so it 'peeled' off because of the 'protection' tape. :pfft:
I know it's minor but still... in the middle of this forehead, really?

anyone else get the shipping notice via neca for shredder/foot set? stoked to get. via tracking no movement yet but imagine they are busy via nycc.

Ouch! I haven't had THAT particular issue - but a few of them had dents on there foreheads due to the plastic trap. Dipping them in hot water took most of that away. But still ended up with some swirly lines indented into the plastic on the heads. I really wish they didn't make the lower legs and feet metal. It's just too easy for that paint to come off of the die cast. One wrong move with articulating the feet or a suicide fall of a shelf - and BAM, shiny metal appears. I think Bandi did this NOT for posing stability issues, but to simply justify the $20 or so price increase on these. From what I recall, similar SH Figuarts figures such as Dragon Ball Z sell for about $40/45 at retail. So they just wanted to add a little metal and sell them at the larger and more detailed SH Monsterarts prices.
