I don't think they will do Berserk. I meant other Hot Toys figures from other properties.

Anyone of you have a problem with Threezero guts arm? i just noticed this and looks like the arm has a tear in the elbow area. Can anyone confirm what material did they use with the seamless arm. Im a little confuse on what to get either this or the medicom

But Batman? Terminator? Predator? Pretty sure those aren't Disney. But yeah I get what you mean. Everything lately aside from Batman seems like Marvel or Star Wars. I wonder if they know what Berserk is..

Just watched episode 12..

Damn that was really good. They finally figured it out. I'd prefer they got rid of CG altogether, but in this dosage, I don't mind. And the schizo camera pans are all gone. There was actual artistic direction in the last few eps, and it's really obvious in 12. Either they got a new director, or this one finally stopped his bollshet. I'm legit hyped for season 2. They showed off something Berserk fans have been waiting to see in animation since Guts first put it on in the manga.

And that must mean ThreeZero is going to announce a new version of Guts in the next few months.

Lol those properties are slowly being swept to the side besides DC comics. Hot toys use to be very diverse but ever since marvel hit they said **** everything else and put all time and energy into making those. Now they are making Star Wars but it's just a bunch of ****** stormtroopers

I honesty don't want to think about how many iron man variants there are... *shudder*

Yeah hot toys used to make a lot of niche franchises. For example, MGS3. Two of my favorite hot toys figs without a doubt, are Naked Snake and The Boss. Perfect representations of two amazing characters.

Now I can't tell if they're playing it safe, or if they just have their hands full with the big Disney properties. And the Disney train shows no sign of stopping, especially with at least 3 more Star Wars movies and all the avengers stuff. I'm glad companies like TZ are picking more obscure franchises. They need some love too.

At least the countless Stormtrooper variants are easy to pass up, which spaces out releases you'd actually want to buy. Still waiting on 1/4 ROTS Vader and 1/4 TFA Kylo to go up for preorder lol.

A lot of the mainstream big dollar making movies are owned by Disney. Hot Toys mainly goes for what's going to be popular, like comic book movies and Star Wars. Most of the other movies released these days don't have the same impact with the toy industry. So unless Hot Toys wants to go for older properties, there's not much worth choosing from besides Marvel, Star Wars, and DC. Hot Toys used to go for older stuff, but now they seem to want to stay in the here and now. The newer properties have more hype behind them and probably sell better. Not to mention they are a larger company than the companies that sell less popular figures. Hot Toys probably produces more figures at a time than those companies, which would be a good reason to stick to what they think will sell really well.

Hot Toys will never make anything like Berserk, but they still make plenty of great stuff and I know there will be a time in the future when Hot Toys will release something new that I can't live without. It always happens like that.

I remember when hot toys made video game figures, sucker punch, hell boy, and some others I can't name that we'd probably never see figures of.

That's why when people say they want hot toys to make this and that I just shake my head cuz it'll be a cold day in hell before they make anything that isn't mainstream anymore or not Disney . O well we have other companies now.

For their defense (to be fair)
They still make video game figures (resident evil, metal gear..etc) It's just they make a lot more figures.
They used to put out 10-20 figures a year. 4-6 of them were non-major license/non Disney.
Now they make more than twice a year. still 4-6 of them are non-major license/non Disney
