Don't know if this was mentioned before but after watching Clippers video for those who complain about the ab plates the best thing to do that I've done is pop off his "cup" as I call it since it has Velcro underneath then slide it up or down or left or right to straighten your abs. I did this because the bottom of the chest plate stuck out a bit further than the bottom two plates and now it's more flush. Give that a try guys, you can play with this suit a bit.

I didn't have any problems adjusting the armor on mine. HT did really great with there. I am having a hard time getting the face plates to stay in. They just kind of fall out. I may be doing something wrong though. And mine has a big... Uh bat bulge, like he's way to excited to wrangle with Supes. Some piece of the muscle suit has gotten messed up under the costume. I'll probably contact SS about it if I can't figure out how to get it under control.

After seeing everyone's pictures....I caved. Pre-ordered it!

OSK also has the lighted spear so got that on pre-order as well.

Haha. Pretty much, except apparently Batman bends to the left, so it was inappropriately poking out of the cod armor at the hip/thigh joint area. I wish I had taken a pic. I just took the leg armor off and was able to kind of (sigh) massage and it work it down. Don't judge me. I'm not even 100% on what was going on there. The important thing is that bulge is gone. For now anyway.

I PO'd the OSK light up Kryptonite spear as well. Definitely not bad at all for $37. The light up Kryptonite on the spear will match the light up Kryptonite accessory with Supes.

Oh, that's awesome. I preordered the spear from OSK when I first heard about it last week, but it didn't mention the light up function. Just checked my order and the OSK site and it has been updated with the light up info. Sweet!

Yeah, it boggles my mind that people are going to complain about the leg armor being uneven when you can take it off and put it back on! I guess I have a personal positive bias towards his reviews but I always assumed everyone else watched Clipper King's reviews as well since he's usually the first guy to get the Hot Toys figures. Guess I was wrong for the butt-hurt whiners saying the uneven leg armor ruined their figures (if that's all it takes to ruin a figure I bet they'd find a flaw with a DX11 as well).

you didn't want to be snarky, then when someone agreed with you, you became snarky as you could be. nice. :cuckoo:

i wasn't even that concerned about the leg armor as that was 1 of a few issues. it just puts the cherry on top of a bad acquisition from SS.

lastly, I am a professional with a job and i don't run to youtube to see what everyone is doing to mod a figure, i have this thing called a life.

no one here said their figure was "ruined" because of leg armor either. I just don't even know what to say to pot stirrers like you. except for you are now blocked.

Exceeded my expectations, one of my new favorites.

So since I've moved into my house and got the Detolf curio I haven't placed any of my figures into it although I'm dying to start. My issue with it is it rattles quite a bit when opening and closing it especially since it's on carpet. I worry since figures like this will topple over quite easily without the stand and I don't want to use the stand because I'll lose some serious real estate. Anyone have any tips?

Just got him and there is a $20 code on the box hopefully It can be used on something I actually want.

Since I already have so many pre orders and really don't want anything else currently I actually called Sideshow and they allowed me to apply the $20 to a current pre order I had already made, in which case it went towards Arkham Joker. Give them a call I'm sure they'll do the same.

Some amazing shots in here...

It is indeed a cool figure. Long day, so just a couple from me tonight...

Love playing with light on this one...it's easy to see how Snyder probably had a blast composing shots with this look. It's intense, imposing and brutal...everything it should be. Say what you will about the film (I loved it), but the man does have a great eye for design and concept.

Bravo, Snyder...well-done, Hot Toys!

Going to enjoy getting some more shots of this figure...can't wait to see what others folks keep coming up with in here.

Can someone please tell me if you can raise his arms straight forward . I've yet to see anyone do it . Even ClipperKing never pushed the arms forward . Does it go up at all ? I know how much it goes up to the side .

Poster/blue tac on the feet would work. I've used it on a couple figures. And monofilament (fishing) line as a tie off/anchor is another option

Edit-

This is a link to a type of poster tac I mentioned. But there's lots of others.

I did this to stop the bumping of glass against glass:

I for one am not comfortable displaying figures without stands so to cut down on the footprint I switch all of my figures over to Coco bases and even ordered a few with a 4.5" diameter. Most of my figures are in museum poses, which also minimizes the footprint. As far as the Coco bases go, I'm a fan of the round-black ones; for me it's all about the figures so the less distracting the base is the better...and I don't need to see a name-plate that says "Superman" cause I know who he is.
