Saw it last night. It was... eh. Akward jumps from Point A to Point B, bits that served no purpose, very short scenes that, as mentioned, akwardly jumped to another place and then BACK to first one, it all felt like a bunch of clips put together, rather than a movie. Still, it wasn't half bad, the effects were great, there were a few good moments but man, was the writting cliche and the situations contrived. So, yeah, a 5-6/10 at best...

Shame it's not doing too well. Hopefully we'll get a sequel.

Are Ner'zhul/Kargath in this or mentioned at all?

It turns out that at least Kargath actually is in this. He's usually hanging around Grommash, especially in the last 20-30 minutes of the film in the big battle. You get a real good look at him after Lothar defeats Blackhand and is walking through the crowd of orcs.

There's this other orc you often see around Blackhand/Grommash that I'm pretty sure is Kilrogg, but I can't find any screenshots of him and I'm not as familiar with the character.

This is the only screenshot I found of Kargath, but like I said, you can see him much better in later scenes:

It's definitely him because he's got the same straight black hair, bone piercings on each shoulder/arm and of course, the bladed-fist.

Kind of a shame to hear Ner'zhul isn't even mentioned in the movie since he is such a big part of the mythos being the Lich King and all.

Pretty sweet to hear about cameos of Kargath Bladefist and Kilrogg Deadeye. Those names take me back to the good ol' days of Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness.

Saw Warcraft last night. It was ok, 5 out of 10. Felt like a well made movie of the week feature than a major motion picture. Could tell the budget went to the special effects more than the actors.

I saw this opening weekend and was actually pleasantly surprised that I really enjoyed it. I never played any of the games so I didn't know the backstories of these characters or their worlds at all. Once it started, I really had to pay attention as things like backstory and even the names of the characters all came at you way, way too fast. It really was too rushed and too much was really shoehorned in, but once it got down to telling its main story I became really enamored with it and was pulled in. I loved how that the battles depicted in the film were not necessarily about a struggle between good and evil (though that was there) but a struggle about survival. And the ideas raised in the film were very topical to the real world. I absolutely loved how it ended with the major twists it took and how no one ended up being content with what happened and finding peace. The ending actually was pretty damn impressive I thought. Overall, it sorely needs the thirty or forty minutes of footage that were excised to let the film breathe and develop its characters without rushing through all that and everything else. I give a 7/10 and look forward to seeing the director's cut if it comes down the pipe. I can honestly say that Duncan Jones continues to impress the hell out of me. Say what you will about the flaws of the film. Jones' vision of this world depicted on screen is absolutely jaw dropping beautiful. Only wished we could have got one last song by his dad David Bowie to play in the film.

Finally got to see it and I loved it. Really hope it'll do well enough to bring us a sequel.

I don't understand why people keep paying attention to the opinions of 200 bloggers who hate everything.

Seems to me most reviews on RT these days are "rotten". I have always generally disregarded critic's opinions as useless, and RT has moved to the bottom of that "useful" list.

Great scene, and there's much more.
Why wasn't this in the movie? Because producers are dumbasses, obviously.

That's hilarious. Reminds me of the much maligned Robert Zemekis mo-cap movies.
Seriously man do you not think it looks really silly?
