Yeah, it sort of fits with the character I suppose. Seems to happen to a lot of people looking at some of the photos being posted

So I've seen a few comments / rumours that there is maybe a Jnix OT Luke sculpt in the pipeline. Can anyone add any substance to these rumours?

One of my lights died so it's not exactly what I wanted, but I couldn't wait to get new Han with (old?) Chewie.

Looks awesome! Is anyone contemplating doing a little matte clear over the sculpt to bring back the gloss?

It's strange but my iPhone shots show the gloss a lot but when it's on my shelf under the lights it just has a matte/dry painted look (and very high quality at that). I was surprised when I took a photo with my phone that the gloss suddenly showed up.

I agree. My phone camera photo made it look very glossy but in person, it's much more subtle. Amazing paintjob and great photos guys!

That's weird - it looks so glossy in most pics. Just shows that no pic can really show the in-hand item.

I've tried to take a natural daylight photo. The realism of the paintjob is amazing and it doesn't look very glossy in person. Jnix manages to give the paintjob a "translucent" silicone realism to it. Sculptor and painter extraordinaire!

When I first saw the Hot Toys Han head in person, I really thought it was very good. This Jnix sculpt does blow it out of the water though.

Chewie looks amazing. Great fluff job.

Thanks! I think when it comes to making Chewie look right, a lot of the time it comes down to the pose. Mayhew had such an odd gait due to his height and beyond that, I'd bet they had him hunch a bit to fit in the frame sometimes. I feel he looks better/more real with a "loose" or "gangly" pose.

Just wanted to thank everyone for turning this thread into a Han custom head thread days before my HT Han arrives. :lol

LOL!

HT Han is a good Han. I' was always very pleased with mine no matter what the general consensus happened to be on a given day. I suspect you'll be happy too...

Just turn AWAY from the bright light of the Jnix sculpt, and be happy in the knowledge that if you turn your Han upside down you're fine, while we Jnix folks will be chasing a head down the street...
