For sure. I think tamashii would knock these outta the park, but to be fair, did they ever do anything else besides stand around?:lol I would love to have seen them in action in the films. They look so imposing.

I think that's the Bandai Model kit with the black series cape... Can anyone confirm?

Looks more like the Mafex Vader by the legs :dunno

Why do you have so many, and how can you afford all of those? You've even got off-brand figures added to the mix! ABSOLUTE MADMAN! Wait, you've got the Movie Realizations too? I'll never have a collection like you... *wants to crawl into a corner and DIE*

Haha yeah I have a LOT of figures. The reason I have so many is because in the near future I plan on building multiple dioramas. But my long term goal is to have a wall where I can put large tanks into them. Having a Diorama for each figure. Stacking large 5ft by 5ft dioramas in a study next to a few books cases work look glorious.
Currently on these two:

Ah ffs. Thanks dude, Ive been avoiding that trailer because I hate spoilers. Good job blurting about Maul... :gah: Why do you even need to say that in the Figuarts thread!??

This forum has been really getting my goat lately. Gonna have to have a break from it.

Oh **** yeah! Maul is coming back!!!

It's old maul....

He sounds calm and not filled with rage and hate...

Don't do this to me, Disney... Don't!

Is it any good? I may start watching it.

If it's on a trailer it doesn't count as spoilers. And if you're on a SW-related thread, while trying to avoid SW-related spoilers, you're doing it wrong.

It's safest to just disconnect from anything that's even loosely related to the stuff you don't want to get spoiled.

If you watched the clone wars, then yes, watch it. But it doesn't get decent until season 2, and it's only good (imo) when it leans on the clone wars tv show. But if you're a fan of clone wars, then yes, I recommend watching it. Grit your teeth and bear through season 1. The season 2 opener is very compelling.

:lol I am compelled to watch it because of Darth Vader, and now because of Maul, but I want to see a bitter old Maul, they better deliver.

And because of your avatar. :duff:

Well, had to set weakling to ignore. Why do some people feel the need to act that way? Three posts in and he managed to annoy me with every post :lol

I wasnt going to leave it be, there was definitely going to be an argument with him in the near future, so best to just ignore before it starts.

Anyway, back to the figures, and I dont really see the problems with Mafex Vader in that pic. Whats the issue? I've got him coming for review, and as far as I know, the head and cape are very well done, plus, he's the perfect height.

That makes twenty of us. :lol

Wasn't gonna bother replying, but gotta say LOL to that.

Also, I second what Kermicky said about Rebels. I apply the same way of watching as CW: I flash forward whenever I get bored. That's how I started CW, and I was surprised how relatively little I felt skipping. I definitely watch Rebels only because I loved certain parts of CW so much and the new trailer suggests the makers are aware of that being the case with many people. Yeah and gotta admit, as both shows are canon, I do kinda wanna know what happens in Rebels, regardless of whether I like it. I do think the preview spoiled too much. (And no I do NOT think the latest BvS trailer spoiled too much atm, just to give a counter reference. Though that could change after seeing the actual movie. Right now I trust Snyder though.)

Having said all of that, yes it's obviously safer to ignore anything related to a property if you wanna stay away from e.g. previews. But on the other hand, using spoiler tags is all but no effort and therefore a very simple yet impactful courtesy imo...

Precisely my point. We're here to discuss figures. Some of us have avoided trailers because we don't like spoilers, there's probably a thread for that. It's common courtesy to tag spoilers and if you don't you're being a bit of a nob.

I'm on the fence about the BvS trailer... At the moment, I feel they revealed too much too early. But I guess we'll see soon. But the Rebels trailer... honestly, they need to throw as much at me at possible to keep me in this thing. I guess I have a different idea of what constitutes as a spoiler...

No need for name calling. There's a difference, imo, between outright spoiling a film and discussing what is present in officially released promotional material. But fair enough, no more Rebels stuff. Actually, I just found the Rebels thread, so all future Rebels stuff from me will go there.

Sorry to ruffle feathers.

No worries, didn't mean the name calling to come across as offensive (if that makes sense? It wasn't intended as direct.). I realise it wasn't an intentional spoiler.

I'm a super S.H.Figuarts Star Wars collector, and I belong here. It's not fair that you can just ignore me. I've been bullied and ostracized out of every community I've tried to join. I'm Guyville VI: The Return of the Exile. I just want to talk about S.H.Figuarts Star Wars, okay? You've all made it perfectly clear that this isn't a safe-space, which fails to explain why everyone is so sensitive. I'm here to contribute to the dialogue of S.H.Figuarts Star Wars collecting just like everyone else.

Having said all that, could we please just talk about the S.H.Figuarts Clonetroopers for a second? I've experienced loose thigh swivels on mine recently, and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. After I exercised all of the joints, I placed them in a crouched pose as seen in the promotional photos in order to test their range of motion. To my horror the joints were noticeably looser after doing so. Does anyone know if this is just a design flaw in the new style S.H.Figuarts thigh joints?

Methinks people are offended by your implications of dbz collectors being something of a gaijin... frankly, i don't give a rat's ass!

I've personally haven't had that issue. When you say you put him in the crouch position you mean you pulled the leg down from the hip joint in order to increase his range of motion?
