Popcultcha have changed their ETA for Kylo from January to March. Granted, things are always a bit slower down here, but if he was being shipped in January I would have expected a Feb ETA at PC. Hopefully they're just covering themselves.

I was seduced by hype but was disappointed by the movie. I was joking about it with my friends I went to see it with. Calling Ren's voice a bad version of DKR Bane, the "temper tantrum kid", and the weakest crybaby Sith to ever see the screen. Not to mention the "Hitler" speech that Hux gave was way overacted.

But now that it's had a chance to sink in, and I've seen it 4 times in the theatre, I'm liking it more! His voice seems cooler to me. The tantrums don't bother me as much cause they are just part of his character. And the fact that he took several hits not just by a bowcaster that blew everyone else into a wall but by lightsabers. So for him to let a hit get in from Finn and get beaten by Rey doesn't seem as bad.

So the Disney brainwashing is working on me.

I actually think his voice is far better than Bane's. They couldnt possibly have screwed up Bane's voice any more than they did. Its overdubbed, and REALLY sounds like. Its so terrible sounding. Clearly sitting above all of the other audio.

At least Kylo, although also sounds overdubbed at times, sits a little better in the mix, and isnt quite as mumbly as Bane.

Where exactly is the line between anger/rage and a tantrum?

Is this some new millennial thing where when someone is just genuinely pissed off and showing rage that it's considered a tantrum? Is anger no longer an emotion?

Decided to cancel my preorder. Gonna hold out for another version with full reveal, Vader mask, etc. Do not need multiples of this guy!

Thanks for making sure to let us know.

I wonder if it will ship out in waves...

I think it's because he raged and then composed himself that it's considered a tantrum, he didn't rage and then naturally calm, it was a quick angry burst and then he was fine. That is more in line with a child's tantrum than anything else.

I was fine with it.

I mean, I'm not arguing that it fits the definition of a tantrum, but people who are trying to equate it to a temper tantrum of a child are morons.

Vader choking a guy and having Mommy Tarkin tell him to stop would fit the bill though.

Im starting to rethink this purchase too.
Not because of limited accessories but the fact I have all OT. He's awesome looking but just doesn't "fit" in my lineup.

Start a new line up like I'm doing. :lol

I have a little OT, some PT, and then gonna open the floodgates for ST. I prob need some more OT though. I think Boba, Emperor, and Jedi Luke should suffice.

get him to represent EP7 with his own shelf. I'll pose him like on the part he turned around to face han solo on the catwalk. I think his stance there is pretty dope. from what I remember (it might be his normal stand but there was where I got a clear look), only watched the film twice.

I'm getting him and Rey and BB-8, that sums up Episode 7 for me. I liked Finn and Poe but have no need for them, or older versions of the characters I grew up with. As for the troopers nothing is as iconic as the OT stormtroopers, I don't need anything else.

To me it was how he was throwing his fits. Since he is being compared to Bane since they both have weird voices and masks. Bane came off as angry to me, ill compare them. Listening to that little toad chew Bane out, like a boss he just puts his hand on the guys shoulder, gets angry at him, and snaps his neck.

Kylo on the other hand, just goes into a tantrum destroying a computer console and a chair when he gets mad. Came off as much more childish and emo, just the way he was handled, rather than making him feel like a boss, like Bane did, even though Bane had his own problems and flaws as a character.

I view anger as something that can be restrained, and unleashed at a certain moment, on another person, and a tantrum is like wah wah things arent going my way so im going to scream and cry and break stuff, which is basically what Kylo did. He only killed one guy... who was 90... on his knees... and defenseless.

my idea of a tantrum is someone laying on the floor kicking and screaming.. not someone violently destroying things with a lightsaber.

i thought the expression of his anger was great. my first thought was "wow, he was REALLY angry".. not "oh look, he's throwing a tantrum".

after reading a lot of people talk about the movie, it just gives me a feeling that a lot of people went into it specifically looking for problems. i guess that's what happens these days when something is super hyped.

i loved it though. i REALLY enjoyed kylo ren. he was a lot better than i had expected. i'd even dare say that i've enjoyed his character more through one movie than i enjoyed vader through one movie... blasphemy, i know.

what was he supposed to do? put his hand on the chair and bend it?

anger is something that can be restrained.. i completely disagree.

kylo seems to be angry all the time. those two instances set that anger into action.

I wanted him to grow a pair. When Rey defied him, and even insulted him, I needed him to teach her a lesson, "DO. NOT. ******. WITH. ME. GIRL. Maybe chop a hand off. Something. Anything. Not stand there looking like he was going to cry and then run back to Snoke like an upset puppy tattling on her. That scene with him looking up at Snoke was kind of embarrassing to watch. Never saw a main villain in something so big like Star Wars look so emasculated.

When the guy gave him bad news about bb-8 getting away, I needed him to kill that guy in that moment, not rage on a computer console! He was very weak in this movie, almost like a pre-teen that wants to think he is tough, but really isnt. This is why people are calling him emo, saying he is throwing tantrums, because he just wasnt tough at all. I think had he done some of what Vader did, force choke people to death with very little reason to do so, people would look at him differently. You wouldnt have all these emo kylo parodies and what not. Literally like 2-3 more scene of him actually acting like a man, like a boss, LIKE A VILLAIN, but he really kinda wasnt at all. He was just some kid in a costume with personal problems.

Been loving all your pics paramor. Helps ease the pain of having to wait for SS to start shipping. Always love the lighting/posing/angles/focus of your pics. High class work!

Like vader chopped of Leia's hand for her insolence? Or maybe you'd like Kylo to look down on his boss who is 30 odd foot high? You project more than Snoke's hologram.

Because nothing say's you're a man more than killing someone in anger? I've known people who when they lose their **** they destroy things, I mean full blown rages of unpredictability. The sort that could go from smashing up their own property to hurting/killing someone in a blink of an eye.

That doesn't make them manly, boss or villainous. It makes them people who aren't in control of their emotions and dangerous. Which is the exact sense of unpredictable rage that JJ wanted for Kylo.

You define anger/rage in a way that Hulk or the Joker could be seen as them just having a tantrum.
