It's not permanent. It will return to it's original shape.

I had a feeling that might be the case. I've not had much luck in the past using heat and then sudden cold in any method to re-shape a figure. They always seem to just slowly go back to the original position over time, with maybe only holding a very slightly different position when it is done. And given that the hood is very thin and rubbery, it's chance to just expand back is even greater than a more solid plastic piece would be I would think.

The best I could get out of the damn hood is sitting plastic that holds the hood forward. It does slip back but looks more natural. Probably can put a foam on his back to hold it in place.

That looks great do you mind going into further detail?

I'll try

The cloth where the hood rests can move around. you can move the cloth a bit to the left and drag the front down. this way the hood will face down and cover the top part of Rens Helmet and shows more of mask only.

it's easier to play around if you lift the whole cloth the holds the hood and then play to get the position right.

here I've tried to do an illustration. excuse my skills.

also move the head like it's leaning forward.

Don't forget that everyone in here gets mad that people like the BS over Figuart. No **** what I say is my opinion. Do I need to say it?

Let us not cry now everybody. I like something you don't. The world will go on.

Only figure that I like over Figuarts is Ren. All there other offerings are better than BS. The BS robe and Figuarts body... that is the best 6" Ren it seems.

Do you own the BS Ren?

Easy there, no need to be defensive and cuss. I get it, even before the release you got dis on for having an opinion. It's how the opinion posted seemed to present itself as a fact: "black series does look better and for over half the price." Just put, I dunno, IMO? rather than make it as an undisputed certainty.

I really don't mind if you feel indifferent on Figuarts Ren, whatever floats your boat's fine with me and yes the world goes on.

Saw it on toys r us and passed on it. I stopped buying bs figures after Jedi Luke.

It's not permanent. It will return to it's original shape.

Really? That's too bad, hoping it could have that lasting effect.

This needs to be quoted with the pictures! You have an amazing collection, stop making me jealous!

How about those space walls, huh?

Haha. Didn't read that you said "terminal cancer of which you'll die of in two months" ..but cancer. Hmmm..

Sorry, but I just have to butt in here WWEJedi, but have you ever owned a figuarts before? Your comments sound like someone trying to justify to themself that they dont have to buy the figuarts, that the BS "will do"

Trust me, there is no comparison. The only bad figure to come out of figuarts was Vader, compare Luke to his BS version and you will see why its double the price.

There's no issue here. WWEJedi actually said Figuarts are better in most cases but he likes the BS Ren more. No problem with that - he's not inherently against Figuarts.

Oh, I wasnt saying there was an issue, I simply wanted to chip in with an explanation other than the usual "you're wrong" argument WWEJedi says happens often. Im still new to this thread :)

Everybody chill out with the rivalrous attitude to bs and shf. Shf ispretty much the only thing I collect these days but they're far from beyond reproach. Wwejedi just said he liked every shf version better except kylo, as well as 'kylo shf + bs robe seems the best', no need to go after him/her.

Also everyone states **** like it's a fact all the time, including those who call others out on it, and yes including me in this very post .Nobody's gonna put 'imo' behind every sentence. There's calling people out on their words and than theres interpreting them needlessly negatively. Anyway, this **** isn't an exact science.:lol

@Blood cloth and noncloth sorta only annoys me when the same layer of clothing is hybrid. So like, a cloth robe with kylo's plastic scarf doesnt work for me. One robe over jedi luke does sorta work for me and my maul robe is good enough for me too. Bit grey area. Overall noncloth over cloth is ugly to me, but cloth over noncloth can work. Im defintely making entire custom robes for Kylo I wager atm. Especially if the hood doesn't stay fixed.

Photos look awesome! A caped robe on kylo is cool but his signature strapped skintight arm look is very iconic to me, so it ultimately detracts from his look imo. But cool to see nonetheless.

Just dipped in and ordered a Darth Maul from eBay, still debating what to do about Jedi Luke.
Quick question on eBay sellers, do they mark up the value to the price they sold it for or do they put down the actuall rrp of the figure?
Worried about being stung by a spiralling customs charge too

Those Phase 1 Clones from AmiAmi haven't shown any signs of materialising, but the First Order Stormtrooper I picked up from Mandarake should be arriving tomorrow according to the tracking :panic:

Looking forward to this, don't think I've seen a single bad pic of the FO troopers yet...
