Hot Toys - Star Wars Episode IV - 1/6th scale Luke Skywalker in Stormtrooper ...

Nice pose. I think I'll use that pose when I get my Luke.
Thanks. Can't see it in the photo but he's holding in such a way that you can see some of the interior helmet details, which are fantastic. This figure is really a great deal.

In heavy shadows, he is AMAZING.....
I even see a little bit of Hamill from some angles when it's heavily shadowed. Couldn't capture any on camera though.

Couple more shots. Pretty impressed. Some angles he does have that 1,000 yard stare or looks like he's slightly possessed. I think they had trouble nailing the slightly side glance and that's throwing things off on some of the sculpts. I have two and neither seems perfect, one being slightly better than the other from some angles.

Damn nice shots. And TWO! I want your money. :)

You don't want my credit card bill next month, but you do want my extra working grappling hook. ;)

I got an extra for a couple customs, really wanted the shorter chest armor for one of my tall Stormies and really like how that turned out.

Also figured I could turn another Stormie into a Han figure with the Luke neck piece and use that extra helmet with the interior as well, but right now it looks like Han has absolutely no neck so I'll need a longer barbell. Still a work in progress. I'm sure they'll preview a Han before I get it to look okay.

Can somebody post a pic w/ the helmet on. I want to see how low or high the helmet sits and if he still looks proportional. I might get this instead of the regular Stormtrooper since I might want to pose him next to Vader as a Stormtrooper and not Luke when I get bored of the display.

Wonder if the wet hair from Bespin Luke would fit on this guy for a trash compactor look...

Getting the hair off the Luke sculpt might be the harder trick before you could even see if the Bespin hair would fit. it's the same sculpt as farmboy Luke but the hair seems permanently fixed.

Thats a shame. Well if anyone had ALL three they could make a greater figure :lol

They are using magnetic hair piece. Shouldn't be hard to remove.

But the head might be sculpted differently so the hair might or might not fit.

Got this guy a few days before Christmas, I think he's great. I don't see the issue with the eyes that others are mentioning and the sculpt is great. Looking forward to pairing him with Han!

If I get Luke.......I would display him carrying his helmet upside down w/ the Stormtrooper helmet details showing. I need to see more pics to convince me to take the plunge lol.

Just got an email from SS that this is now shipping.
Going to call tomorrow and see if my final flex pay can get moved up.

I flex'd one of these tonight with the monthly code. I hope they give me a breather and spend the coming year releasing TFA stuff so I can catch up on the OT stuff.

So let me get this straight, the only difference between this head sculpt and farm boy Luke is this one has a sweaty look to it.

I know the farmboy version is magnetic, but all I can tell you from having the stormtrooper Luke in hand is that the hair isn't held on by a magnet and seems permanently fixed in place. If there is a way to get it off, I'll let someone else figure it out because I think trying to force it off will damage it.
