I'd buy an 80s ET.

Speaking of Audrey Hepburn, does anyone remember this commercial?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gx9eDoS76LM

That commercial absolutely made my heart flutter. We've seen some impressive things in cinema with CGI, but this (for me anyway), was
probably the singular best execution of it to date. It's fine to create special effects sequences, strange environments and even alien species (i.e. Avatar), but replicating a human being to this level is outstanding. I watch that and not one little neuron in my brain tells me that isn't Audrey.

I only wish we could continue to watch her in films indefinitely, but this was a real treat for fans and (again, my opinion) paid the utmost respect for
her. I'm sure her sons were well pleased.

just got her today and she is amazing!! really happy how it turn out.

Actually I think this is the best I've seen in resurrecting an actor in CGI.

That chocolate commercial is on all the time on my British tv. Really well done, and I HOPE/PRAY they do a Hepburn statue. Would love to get deep into a line of classic's.

Mine is being processed now. I feel like my shipping went up by $10, because it's now $95 to have it shipped to CANADA. Pretty damn ridiculous. I think when I made the order it was around $85...or something closer to that. Wasn't aware that could change. Still have no clue how Sideshow ships for $40, and somehow it costs BBTS $50 more.

Received mine today, but haven't had a chance to open her up yet! I always wondered how people could walk away from a statue in a box and just go to work, but it turns out...you just do! I've got to clear a place for her, and want to enjoy looking at it while checking her over, so there's no point in trying to cram it into 10 minutes before walking out the door.

Either way, happy that she arrived so quickly. Looking forward to hopefully checking her out tonight when I get home and seeing this $700 statue in person. :lol

For $700, she'd better be cooking dinner and cleaning up your place while you're at work.

Yeah, it's a really brutal conversion rate and terrible shipping costs from BBTS. I'll be avoiding them from now on with rates like that.

I got mine but wont be able to take pictures til tomorrow. She looks fantastic to me! I think the only thing that caught my eye is the shading on the forehead. There looks to be some dark shading on the left side of her forehead that looks a tad harsh to me. I need to check some other in hand pics to see if it's a common thing.

I'm having an issue getting her to sit flat on the base, she's very wobbly and her peg wont go in any further...

I was only able to pull her out and inspect her quickly. From the VERY brief once over, she looks really stunning. Haven't taken the base out or anything like that. No issues that I could see, but I hated putting her back in the box. I like setting them up as soon as I open them, but alas, my office is in explosion mode right now and I won't be able to fix it up until the weekend. Hopefully I have a place for her by then, and at that point I'll be able to check for any other issues much better.

As it stands now though, it's an incredible paint job. Look forward to actually getting to admire it when I have a safe place to set it up!
