Afflect is kind of out of character. He is supposed to act like a play boy. Seem he is a little too serious. Maybe they already know who each other is by then.

I thought this version was based largely on Miller's TDKR. So, he ought to be a grouchy old bastard. Damn close to Walt Kowalski from Gran Torino ... or Harrison Ford in any interview.

Maybe that's why I like him. Relatable.

Yup. This is an older, bitter and battle-hardened Batman based on The Dark Knight Returns. Having lost Robin and recently the lives of his own employees in the Superman-Zod fight. It's easy to see why this Bruce is quite venomous in his comments about Superman.

One thing I think the trailers have nailed very well is that this is a very different Bruce Wayne and Batman than we've seen in previous film incarnations. He seems to have let his "true" personality bleed more into his public life.

Doomsday's one of my lesser concerns here, to be honest. But sure, if they can improve on the cosmetic stuff, then great.

Agreed. I don't care too much for the character either so looking more accurate would be nice but it's not any deal breaker to me.

Yes, he does live in mythos as the monster who "killed" Superman, but other than that...he's kind of been a recycled villain in the comics with his numerous clones.

I don't like how Lex is depicted. He's like a little kid making jokes etc. Looks like a child next to the other actors. Lex is suppose to a mature billionaire, with high status...power. I am reminded of Michael Rosenbaum from 'Smallville'. Now he played a good Lex Luthor.
